My dad was in the Navy there and served as Harbor Master, We would go to the pier in town and give a diver 5 dollars o bring as up a King Crab. Most amazing Christmas holidays
Days I have ever spent, They would play Christmas music over a large speaker on Old Woman mountain. I could see the ski jump from our living room window on base I went back to visit when I was stationed at Artic Test Center Delta Junction
