I don’t know what made me choose to come here, I think it might’ve been a picture of somebody else posting about free apple fritters. I do know that it was 100% worth it to come here tonight. My server’s name is Mary and she was absolutely wonderful and I asked multiple questions for some advice and ended up going with a perfect dinner. She help guide me towards getting the Texas trio appetizer, which consists of a single crab cake, two fried green tomatoes, and three shrimp with multiple sauces present. It was so good and what a great way to start my meal.

The free apple fritters and the rolls were perfect as well. They weren’t too heavy, they were nice and light and they complimented the food really well. It’s especially worth it to dip the rolls into the Texas Tree sauces, thanks Mary, you’re amazing.

I got the tortilla soup and it was well worth it, I’m not sure everything that went into it, but the flavor combination was really really good. It wasn’t too spicy, but it was seasoned perfectly. they had some homemade chips on top which really added a nice crunch and flavor as well.

The main course was the Cajun ribeye with garlic, mashed potatoes- it was cooked to a delicious medium rare, and the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. It was at this point that I started to get mildly, if not insanely, full, but mom didn’t raise no quitter and even though I wanted to eat every bite of this food. I had to save room for crème brûlée so a Togo box was needed.

I finished off the meal with the a well sized portion of crème brûlée that was creamy with a nice crunchy sugar topping. Did I eat too much? Well of course I did, but was it absolutely amazing? You bet it was. The service was impeccable, I included a snapshot of the picture because I was just honestly curious what a high-end place like this would take. In regards to timing for Food and service I think they were right on the money. To have that much food, appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert and under an hour and be cooked so well I’m really impressed.

I also think my total bill of $74 was well worth it and for what I got appropriately priced. Everything was fresh, warm, plated beautifully and always had little garnishes to make visually along with tastefully pleasing.

I absolutely would come back here. Their menu had so many great options and it looks like they just do classic food really really well.

We met a friend there for dinner. It's in the middle of what appears to be a residential block. It was very pretty. Once inside, we were greeted and taken immediately to our table outside on the patio. They have fairy lights in the trees and on the fences that make it a quiet secret garden to enjoy your meal. I had called earlier to ask about a gluten-free menu and spoke with one of the servers who seemed very knowledgeable about what they had to offer. I ordered the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes(Gf), and my dinner company both ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. All were very good, and we all brought home leftovers. We also enjoyed their creme Brule (also Gf) and their German cake. Our server Dani was great. She understood my allergy and asked questions when she needed clarification. I appreciated her cheerful attitude as well.

We went there around 3: pm on Sunday.
Everything is freshly made so tasty and delicious!! They gave us plenty of their homemade fritters they were freshly baked. Everything on the menu is to dye for. We order several items, Salmon salad, honey baked salmon with mashed potatoes.
My Son got their chicken sandwich with Cabo fries and a side of chipotle ranch for dipping.
They were really friendly and attentive service, and really cozy, country-home set up.

They have limited of parking in their stablishment.

My first time here and what a gem. It's one of those IYKYK places. I came for a retirement lunch and it was great. The food was excellent, the restaurant was extremely busy, yet the service was good, and the ambiance was lovely. Outdoor table that had heat lamps when we needed them and then easily turned them off when we wanted. I had the tritip sandwhich and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for dinner.

Visited today because we wanted to enjoy lunch on an outdoor patio. Not disappointed with their lovely tree covered patio and delightful koi pond, as well as the courtyard of the adjacent businesses! Ambience is 5 star and service was excellent. We arrived about 35mns before the lunch hours ended and were not rushed, although we wanted to order quickly so the kitchen staff could start their cleaning/prep for the dinner hour at 5pm. While perusing the menu, we were brought some very tasty warm apple fritters which we gobbled up. We were then brought two yummy dinner rolls that were dense in the best way! We ordered flavorful brussel sprouts as an appetizer that were hard to stop snacking on. We should have stopped there because that was enough to fill us up but we did not! We wanted to order the lunch special pork sandwich but they were out so we ordered the Summer Pasta with Veggies and the Chicken Sandwich with Cabo fries and a side of chipotle ranch for dipping. Sadly, we were disappointed because both dishes were bland. The summer pasta has the potential to taste better with more seasoning or changing to a cream base (which is more winter, I know). I would also recommend adding chicken or shrimp, but my friend ordered it with veggies. The chicken sandwich breading didn't have flavor but the chicken breast was juicy, the slaw made the bottom brioche bun complete mush and inedible, and there was far too much mayo on the sandwich (get it on the side or switch it to the chipotle ranch). It lacked any punch and I ended up only eating the chicken breast. The Cabo fries were fine but just standard frozen / deep fried style and I dipped them in a side of chipotle ranch (note above - get it for the sandwich). I feel the menu is a few dollar over-priced per entree, but this is CA so I didn't expect any diffrerent. We were far too full for dessert but ordered a dozen apple fritters and 4 dinner rolls to go. Those apple fritters won't see the light of day tomorrow.

I returned to Shenandoah and had an amazing dinner. The staff were wonderful as well as the food! They were very accommodating. I am so happy I went back and will continue to return to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant!

I was looking forward to eating here for many years. My kids surprised me by taking me here for Mother’s Day. I was so disappointed! We had a reservation for 730. Everything was going well until we ordered. We ordered ribs and the waitress informed us they had run out. We then ordered the pasta dish and after waiting for approximately 30 minutes they informed us they had run out of pasta. A gentlemen working there asked we would like to substitute the pasta for RICE. That does not sound good at all! Why did it take them so long to tell us there was no more pasta? To order again and wait a long time is so unacceptable. The gentleman didn’t even take responsibility. He made a comment about us being there at a late time. Why have a reservation available for 730 if that is the case. He then said it’s Mothers day and it had been busy. What about my special Mother’s Day being ruined? No apologies what so ever. Just making excuses. Will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Update: I received a wonderful response from Jill. I look forward to returning and enjoying the atmosphere as well as the food! I appreciate that Jill reached out to me. Thank you!
