Having lost my S&W model 29 twice while fishing a river in Alaska catching Silver salmon, I started looking for a quality shoulder holster and finally found it.
My Dirty Harry shoulder holster made by James at Ruffiano International is high quality and very comfortable. My big bore revolver is secure, yet easily accessible.
I am so pleased with the quality that I have ordered two more DH rigs to accommodate a S&W model 19 and Sig P220.
And as others have posted, James the owner has always been available to take my calls and discuss what would work best for me.
I highly recommend this Texas small business.

I purchased a Dirty Harry shoulder holster a year ago from Ruffiano international. Holster is all hand made from start to finish. it's not a cheap POS you get in a store. Only the best leather and materials are used in the production of the holster . Hands down one of the best if not the best holster I have ever owned. As a matter of fact I just ordered another one to be made for my Ruger super redhawk 454 casul. Great job guys keep up the great work.

I write this review more than a year after purchasing an original “Dirty Harry” holster from Ruffiano International. I can truly say that this is the best holster I own. It is a museum quality piece that is tough enough to use every day. The fit and finish is outstanding. This is not a cheap copy, it is the real deal! It is resilient and comfortable enough to be used as an every day carry option. Before I placed my order, I had some questions about sizing and fit so I contacted the company. My call was quickly returned by the owner himself who took a personal interest in making sure I received a properly fitted holster and the best possible product. I ordered a holster for my Smith & Wesson Model 29 with 8 3/8" barrel a few months ago, and I received it a couple of weeks ago, and I'm extremely satisfied with not only the quality of the product, but with the friendliness of the service! James was extremely helpful in walking me through the process of ordering my holster, and he even gave me a discount on some speedloader pouches!

As for the holster itself, the leather quality was top-grade, it fit my gun very nicely (if a bit snug), the holster was extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and it stayed put even when I ran around with it! Overall, if you're looking for a great shoulder holster for your Model 29 or other big-bore revolver, you can't go wrong with these guys!
