I stopped by Planet Smoothie in Orange City after a day of shopping in the plaza, looking for a quick snack to end my day. Parking was easy as I found a spot right up front. Upon walking in, I was warmly welcomed by Brayen, who made sure I got exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted a protein smoothie that was low in calories and lactose-friendly. Many whey protein powders contain lactose, but Brayen suggested a thoughtful solution: substituting the whey with their pea protein, which was perfect for my dietary needs. I ended up choosing the Big Bang smoothie, which typically includes strawberries, banana, and vanilla whey protein. Thanks to Brayen’s helpful suggestion, I swapped out the whey protein for pea protein, making it both lactose-free and a great option at only 290 calories. It was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet craving while staying within my calorie limit for the day.

Brayen was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain different smoothie options and ensuring I found something that worked with my diet. I appreciated how she made me feel comfortable and didn’t rush me through the process. She even let me know that I could switch out the whey protein for pea protein in any smoothie, which is amazing for someone with dietary restrictions like mine.

I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying other options on the menu. The Chocolate Chimp smoothie, for example, has cocoa, banana, and vanilla and is only 230 calories. I’ll definitely be swapping the protein again next time! Overall, I had a great experience and will be returning soon.

The açaí base was made with some kind of syrupy sweetener. I’ve been on the hunt for the best açaí bowl. I’ll say the size was nicer than other chains like tropical smoothie cafe or smoothie king. But it was very sweet and the strawberries were frozen, not fresh. Granola was bland is only consisting of oats.

This place is horrible. I got an açaí bowl and it was gross. First of the base was melted and second of all the strawberries were not good at all. I don’t understand how you can look at that and give it to someone. Like I paid for this. It’s so infuriating that these people are so careless. You can get people sick like this. Would they want their food being treated that way when they go get food somewhere? Do better.

Sad. Was excited to finally live near a planet smoothie again and I spent $12 for a water flavored thick drink. Disappointed is an understatement.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. It's shocking how the associates at this Planet Smoothie have no work ethic or customer service skills whatsoever. It seems like they're more focused on their conversations than actually helping customers. When did du-rags and wave caps become acceptable as part of the dress code? Every visit here leaves me regretting my decision. I really hope a Smoothie King or another competitor opens nearby, because this place is not it. It has to be a franchise given how poorly it's run—I've seen zero attempts at improvement.

My guy and I stopped in and tried the new promo smoothie pump up the jam and the og the promo sign at the counter shows 7.99 for a small but the cashier rang it up for 9.99 and cashed out the order. When I realized the price difference we told the staff to have it corrected and one of the male staff I guess acting as manager because the actual manager was not there says oh there prices went up and I asked if he could honor the price on the sign or take the sign down he stated he can't because the prices went up and refused to take down or correct the sign and gave us the managers card. Make sure they confirm the price before you tap/swipe your card here the false advertisement is real. Plus the smoothies weren't good the ingredients were imbalanced and not fully blended.
