Been coming here for a few years now with my kid. While the new renovations look nice, I just do not understand the decision to replace the children's play area with more unused seating and random displays. The 'kid friendly-ness' of the mall used to be our main draw. We'll probably stop back from time to time, but this will no longer be our winter go-to as there's not much for kids anymore outside of stuff you have to pay for. I read other reviews where management stated that the play area will return sometime in 2025. This is not messaged well online or in the mall. No signage.

I would like to comment on North Riverside Mall's extreme makeover. We have been walking at the mall since 2008 and have seen the beautiful transformation they have done there.
The leadership at the North Riverside Mall are doing a great job and are looking to the future in making it the best mall in Illinois.
Security at the mall is at its best.
There are friendly people especially the mall walkers. They are like a family with the mall having great events, especially for senior citizens on the exercise program four times a year.
On a climate control system at the mall it is nice to go there everyday for a walk.

Tuties Cart for personalized ornaments is the most I liked about the mall. It’s a must visit in this holiday. Lots of varieties and options are there. Very friendly staff, thank you all 🫶

North Riverside Mall continues to be a great mall. We are lucky to have this iconic establishment that not only offers great businesses to shop from but its movie theatre is always available with extensive viewing options as well as great recliners and heated omg! I recommend it 100%

I Really Like North Riverside Park Mall!🙂 The Mall is Very Clean and Well Lit and The Bathrooms Are Very Clean and Well Lit! The People are Friendly and Very Helpful! When I Needed Directions The Security Was More Than Willing to Help Me! The Mall is Slowly Getting More Busy Because Since The Last Time That I Was There More Stores Have Opened Up! It's A Little Hard For Me To Get There Because I Live On The North Side Of Chicago and I Have To Take A Few Busses To Get There and Back, But Once I Get There I Really Enjoy Walking Through The Mall and Looking At All of The Stores! 😃

This mall has so many great stores big brands and regular one. They have a good food court with Mexican and. Honese options. All at a very good price. They also have ramps and elevators for wheelchair need
