Rooms have been upgraded, friendly staff, dog friendly. No pool, and exterior is a bit dated and shady. However, when you are just in need of a quick stay and need it to be affordable with easy check in and out, this works!

This was the nicest Motel 6 that I have visited. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The grounds were spacious and well kept and very well lit. it is great that dogs stay free and I felt safe at this motel walking my dog. I am not an overall fan of Motel 6, but would stay at this particular one again.

The first time we stayed here wasn't bad at all, clean,everything worked. At the time coffee was provided in the main lobby. That's where it ends. Check wait time was unacceptable, no one was up front, sign said ring the bell, we did 15 minutes later...someone showed up, not the most helpful or friendliest. So, fast forward a few months later. Went from ok to worse. Same dam experience at check in. Room still clean. At some point during the night the toilet quit working, at 2-3 am, what are the chances of getting someone to come fix it, n to deal with it at that time, nah. After waking up go to the lobby to get coffee, none, figured they just hadn't set it up yet, a hour later, nope, so I called. Was informed they don't even have it anymore, and folks that's a basic at just about any hotel. Needless to say, will never stay there again.

The room was basic but okay. BUT, I paid for this? -- (a) at check-in, the unfriendly clerk took quite some time to come out after I came in and stood at the desk, (b) free coffee is promoted as available in the lobby -- both mornings, no coffee, (c) the internet kind of had a signal here and there, but I ended up having to use my Wi-Fi hot spot instead of their Wi-Fi, (d) came back from being out on my second day there, and my card key no longer worked--and again, no one in office and several minute wait for someone to come out to resolve it, (e) bath tub drained very slowly, (f) toilet seat was broken, (g) trash and 'cigarette butt plastic jugs' were what adorned the exterior of my room area, and appear to have been there a long time, along with dog poop on the sidewalk by my door, that stayed for my entire stay, (h) battery cover missing from TV remote, (i) no means of saying 'no service needed' during my time out, so someone was in my room while I was gone, and (j) at check-out, at a normal check-out time in the morning, again no one in the office and a 'key drop' box left on counter. 'Service' was one step away from having a check out machine that would check me in and dispense a door card key. I was looking for a place to stay each week for the next three months. I canceled the next-week reservation and I'm looking elsewhere now.

Rooms are very clean, and smell nice upon arrival. The staff is quick to respond to meet your needs. Very friendly owners. Clean parking spots, fresh linens, I have 0 complaints. We’ve stayed here for months and have never had an issue. Best rates here in Winnie Texas! I would recommend staying here for short or long term. I’m highly satisfied with the customer service and quality of the rooms.

They are great friendly staff, they are quick to respondto your needs. Nice and plenty of parking. . Really nice clean rooms, and smells nice. They have laundry for guest, atm in the lobby. Nice patio with a bbq grill. They have vending machines available, I would definitely recommend staying here!

My stay started off decent. My little family and I are traveling wherever my husbands job goes, well his first check while being out of town was short so we went with the cheapest place in Winnie that we could find for the next 2 weeks. I’m a very clean person and the staff informed my husband and I when we checked in that we would be put on the list for no room service because I can’t imagine someone else cleaning up after my messy toddlers (it’s embarrassing). Fast forward to 5 days later, the owner (male) just walks in to our room while my kids and I were sleeping and my husband was at work, silly me I didn’t wake up to close the latch after my husband left because I sometimes get kept up by my children… either way the noise of the door latching would have been enough to wake us, I did not say come in and they knew I was there with my children so they should not have entered the room without my consent. The following week (our last week) it happened two more times once again by the owner and then one more time by who I’m assuming was his daughter, each time they woke up my cranky kids and I and didn’t even apologize for their rudeness. The last few days were probably the worst, they didn’t warn me that they were going to be doing maintenance on the room next door and the room right above us and again we got woken up but this time to hammering and banging around at 8 am, mind you those last few days my kids have been up every night until 4-5 am fighting their sleep… the noise didn’t go on for the whole 3 days straight they did take a day and that day being the day his daughter walked right on in asking me questions while I was half asleep and waking up my children who only got like 4 hours of asleep so they were super cranky. We ended up not stay the last night because that morning my kids and I got woken up to loud drilling noises and banging around (if it ain’t hammering it was drilling), so we decided it was time to go because my kids and I were feeling very uncomfortable during the second week of being there. After our stay I’ve realized that no one picks up after their dogs my son who is 3 stepped in dog poop twice while playing outside, the laundry room is disgusting and the ice machine was giving us flakes of god knows what with our ice… they advertise 2 washers and two dryers but there was only one washer one dryer and the dryer stayed having dirt inside of it. Our room had roaches here and there and smelled like mold and the people there were weird… one guy who was staying there a few doors down from us stopped my husband and at first was cool about it but then started offering him “hoes” as if he didn’t see me and my kids walking in and out of the room with him prior to this. Never staying at a motel 6 ever again.
