After several visits over 6 months or so, I'm prompted to leave a review. It seems to be a rare retail store that serves up such friendly and knowledgeable customer service these days. Each visit ive been helped to find what I need or even directed to another local business that could help. The employees are above helpful and ive left each time with a smile.

It's old fashioned in a good way and the people are friendly and genuine. I never really shopped here until this year when my land lord told me they had the AC filters I needed. I've been there a couple times now and realized this a great business with good prices. It has that nostalgic feeling that I truly appreciate and it represents something positive from a past generation. They will help you find what you need with a smile and that means something.

5NOV21 This is my FAVORITE hardware store!!!👍😃👍😃 I first visited McKAY'S back in the 1990's when I was the maintenance supervisor at the Comfort Inn. They always had the items I needed and Mr. McKay, Ed, and all the other folks that worked there were so very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way they could. That same GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is still there today.😃😃😃 I sure wish they were closer to home so I could shop there more often.

This local hardware store services our area, their prices are a bit high however they have everything, and I mean everything you need. However as of about a year ago they stopped opening on Saturday. This is a loss for the community and I truly wish they had Saturday hours again. Overall, check it out - for all your yard, plumbing, hardware needs.

I used to love going to McKay's Hardware but there's a woman that works there now she's has gray hair I don't know her name she has some kind of issue with me from Randolph Market every time I walk in she stares at me like I'm some animal or something just like she did at Randolph Market she would take my business Flyers down and business cards down from Randolph Market and go into McKay's Hardware she follows me around that's not right I don't feel comfortable buying stuff because of her

Great little store. The guys who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful. At the beginning of covid 19, they were one of the 1st places that I found real face masks ( this was when no one could find them anywhere). I get my pesticides there as well as lightbulbs etc. They make keys too. A little bit pricey compared to the big retailers but you get hometown service and no problems getting your questions answered.
