I was so excited for a local Maverik, but this is one of the worst I've visited. There is always trash strewn about outside, the drink station is consistently messy, and the pebble ice is out of order more often than not. Worst of all - What is with all the mousetraps everywhere! Gross. For heavens sake - if you have a mouse problem put the traps in back rooms where customers won't see them. Definitely makes me want to stay away from anything that isn't pre packaged.

The delivery trucks should NEVER block the entrance or exit from the gas station. I feel the area behind the gas station is where they should park. The police should be ticketing the delivery drivers! This usually happens every Monday morning. WTH?! Next time I will leave a photo!

Updated review after several visits. The store is mostly fine, food is usually somewhat fresh, etc. However, the drink section is usually quite dirty and a couple of the cashiers I've interacted with have been seemingly very uneducated on the POS system. My last visit was literally 10 minutes of the guy trying to figure out how to enter in a couple drinks and snacks. Not to mention rewards don't work half the time, the receipt printer is always broken, and a number of other annoying things.

Not sure what is going on with this location, but it is awful! For starters, it’s filthy! I prefer Maverik to other gas stations because they are usually pretty clean, not this location. It just feels gross, especially the drink station. The drink machine is always dirty and/or broken down. The floor also looks and feels like it hasn’t been mopped, ever. I’ve also lost money trying to get air in my tires. When I told the staff, they said that they let the manager know, but the Manager won’t do anything about it. I wanted my money back, but again, they said they couldn’t refund money for the air machine per the manager. I suggested that they put an out of order sign, they said, yet again, the manager would not allow an out of order sign be put on the air machine because it belongs to another company. So, maybe it’s a manager problem. I would love to come to this location because it’s so close to me, but we refuse to go there any longer until they make some major changes.

This place has a great location, except the air pump has been unreliable for about a year at the time of review. I have observed it getting worse and worse. Occasionally an "Out of Service" label is put on it, but it's been quick to have issues.

I wish I could tell you an accurate number of how much money I've used on this pump trying to get air in my tires, but I would probably come up short of my estimates.

Today, I spent another $3 for 10 minutes worth of air, and during the second allotment of my time I quickly noticed I was getting "Error" messages repeatedly. The air in my tires was rapidly decreasing instead of filling up. Unwilling to waste more money, I began my in depth analysis of the air pump. I discovered black electrical tape holding the hose together. If squeezed just so, it could semi-adequately inflate a tire, otherwise it loses air or produces the infamous "Error" on the pump.

I left to try another Maverick in the area with bad news as well for that location, and ended up discovering free air at the Exon next to US-6 and Center St.

This was one of my favorite gas stations until recently. I don’t know what’s going on with the staff and I Understand being stressed and understaffed but their attitudes and laziness is starting to show. I work health care and get off late at night. I’ve been stopping here mostly every night. Lately there has been no staff to be found for what seems like forever when you’re standing and waiting to be checked out. Im aware self checkout is a thing. But it doesn’t take CASH! Do not get mad when I need someone to check me out. I also don’t understand why there isn’t staff to be found at night That can’t be safe to leave an entire convenience store unattended at check out in the middle of the night with only self checkout as an option. During the day there is one certain employee who has the nastiest attitude. Rushing people and only wanting to stand around talking to coworkers and gets irritated when interrupted to ask for them. These two weeks I’ve been dreading when needing to go to the gas station when this is the only one open….

Stopped after a cold, wet day of work for a sweet and a coffee. The “new”coffee tastes like disinfectant. The cinnamon roll was so under-cooked, it was like eating dough. Very disappointing. I expect more from Maverick.
On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and efficient. I always get a greeting and good service.

It’s crazy how much the employees truly make or break a customer’s experience. I rather drive the extra mile or 2 to a different gas station. Solely because of the two lazy employees in the evenings. They take their sweet time, and then still have an attitude! If you don’t like your job then find something else. Much rather drive to the Holiday that is a mile away.
