My first time dropping off here. The handy guys are very helpful professionals and nice. However the black lady upstairs at the payment desk is not customer friendly service quality. She seemed like she does not want to be there. No greetings. No hello, no good morning, no thank you. Nothing!!
She had a very rude tone of voice. I asked her a question and she was not very polite about my shipment. If I had a business I would not want people like this to be the forth front of my company to greet or serve my customers.
Not going back there.

My friend shipped 3 barrels to Guyana in October 31 and was told they will be there November 29. Then the date changed to Dec 14 then 19. Mind you the stuff in the barrels were for Xmas. After many costly trips to the office, my friend got the barrels January 3, 2025. There seems to be some shenanigans with money transactions if you want your barrel quick, which my friend was not willing to entertain. However, the disappointing part was that when calling the NY office who accepted the shipment, they have not clue what was going, who to contact, etc. The lack of accountability is beyond disturbing. The sad part of course is that this company seems to be the only to many countries in the Caribbean and they feel they have the right to treat people the way they want. I will not recommend this company if it is the last in the business. They are lucky one is the lowest you can rate them. Thank you!

If i could zero star i will, they charge you for the service and dont deliver on time, i ship a box january 18th via air freight doo-to-door service it is now a Febuary 26th still not getting deliver. These people do not care , everything has been paid for, with that being said they told me i could pick up at the warehosue, got me waiting there for 2 hours waiting just to tell me the package hasnt clear custom , wtf unbelivable. Dont use Lapatkan Guys please check out other shipping company like BAC, Airbox, and King soloman

Be very cautious when shipping from this company. I had a mishap with this company in 2019 when I shipped a barrel in November and it wasn’t available for pick up until February the following year, and for this they blamed the peak season for their delay. Fast forward to this year 2024, where I shipped three barrels and a TV from NJ to Kingston on September 21st. In October, approximately three weeks after the shipment was done, I contacted the office, and they advised that the shipment arrived on October 4th and should be ready for pick up within 5 to 7 business days. They contacted the receiver and advised him that only the three barrels were ready for pickup as the TV was delayed and was not sent with the barrels. I patiently waited for a response or an update on the shipment, and I was subsequently informed that the TV arrived in Kingston on October 24th, and again, the shipment would take up to 5 to 7 business days to be available for pickup. This was however not the case!
I had to contact the office relentlessly for an update, and I was greeted with this unnecessary hostility from the customer service team. There were instances where I was told that I needed to call the Kingston office and they would provide me with an update, which was done, and when the receiver contacted the office, they were unaware of the shipment. Another scenario is that they didn’t have a contact number for the receiver, which is the issue that they were facing, which I provided every instance that I made contact with their office. Nonetheless, they contacted the receiver after I made it clear to them that I would be leaving a review on their Google account and that I would be taking this issue to social media. They contacted the receiver for pick up, and this was done on November 15th. Upon receiving the TV that was shipped, there was no usage for this item to the extent of how shattered the TV was. The TV was shattered to the extent where the glass was falling from the box.

This has been one of the most difficult situations to date, as their customer service team is extremely rude, and there is no form of professionalism associated with this company. I’m writing this review so others are aware of the issues that might arise when conducting business with this company.

If I could of given them a zero star that's what they would of got. Second time shipping with them first time my barrel never reach to its destination in the time frame that was given to me. Second barrel I shipped on November 12th of 2024 up to this day my barrel cannot get to the person I sent it too and I paid them $375 us dollars to ship and clear and deliver my barrel to my daughter. All the food stuffs that's in that barrel was for my daughter and grand children to have a good christmas and have food to eat that they never got i had to end up sending money to them. Every time I called they claiming it's been delayed and it takes up to 6 weeks to get there , then now all of sudden they telling me I owe money in jamaica for duty fee and some lady.in jamaica is going.to contact me , why the hell some lady in jamaica that I dnt know nor ever have dealings with is going to call me about some $50 us that I owe. Why the hell I owe $50 us for duty fee in jamaica when I have no dealings in jamaica , I paid in full for everything in new york and now they bringing me some nonsense story about duty fee. Laparkan in queens ny I shall deal with your company because I am getting my lawyer to deal with that situation and your company will either deliver my barrel or reimburse me every dime I spent in that barrel plus my shipping cost. You all are some bunches of thieves and I would never under this life ship anything else with this company nor would I recommend any one to ship with them. They irresponsible, liards, scammers and thieves but I got something coming for them .

People pay their hard working money, thid is why the business establishment should be honored to provide the customer with honesty & professionalism. Which this company fails to do. The employees at the Guyana location are steal from people Barrel. They simply take a plier and hold the plastic part with the seal number and yank it out. It does not break the wire or plastic housing on the seal. Then they go into your barrel and steal at lease 1/3 of the Barrel. Then they just snap back in the original seal. So you have no claim as the barrel is sealed with the original number. The company need to do something about these people working at the warehouse in Guyana. The company needs to have a more secure system to save people barrel from employees break and enter into people barrel. This has been an on going problem. Now I put my own padlock and zip tie everything together to plywood located at the top and the bottom of the barrel. Laparkan is not safe to ship as the employees at the warehouse in Guyana is breaking into everyone barrel
