Have fun.
Fill out a ticket when you get in at the kiosk and hand it to them otherwise you’ll never get called.
Don’t rely on their “systems”

The regulars grease to skip the line. Or some get “fast track” You’ll see them stroll on through. You’ll wait minimum 1hr to get called for paperwork if you’re lucky. And then you’ll be here a happy 3hrs minimum for your id check and then another 1hr to get it.

I was here for a pallet and had everything cleared before arrival.

-paperwork needs to be printed beforehand
-you’ll have to pay through the website for their fees.
-be prepared to sit and watch your “place in line” mean nothing at all.
-oh and large statements everywhere from Lufthansa’s management saying not to bribe the workers 😂 what a joke of a place.

Get your shipments routed elsewhere to cost you less as well as cost you less time if you’re picking it up yourself

One of the guys waiting said. I’m not paying them 20 dollars to get to me faster. I get billed hourly why would I pay out of my money to not get more hours.🤣

Unprofessional and Inefficient – Cargo Building 23 Needs Major Overhaul

Cargo Building 23 at JFK is a complete mess. The office staff are totally unprofessional—no one is willing to provide updates, and they’ll claim they called you when you have your phone in hand with no missed calls. Instead of taking responsibility, they blame the excessive wait times on it being a Monday, as if that’s an acceptable excuse.

It’s clear that the staff assisting truck drivers need serious training in communication, efficiency, and professionalism. Drivers—who often travel 6, 12, or even more hours away—are forced to wait unnecessarily due to the lack of coordination between the warehouse and office staff. The warehouse workers also need training in communication and basic efficiency skills. Delaying freight that costs people money due to storage fees, fuel, and lost time is simply unacceptable.

Lufthansa and other airlines operating cargo facilities at JFK need a complete overhaul. If Newark and LaGuardia can run their cargo operations efficiently, there’s no reason JFK—one of the most well-known airports in the world—shouldn’t be able to do the same. The cargo process needs urgent improvements to meet the standards expected of a major international hub.

Avoid this facility if you can. If you must deal with Cargo Building 23, be prepared for delays, frustration, and unprofessional service.

Make sure you bring your pillow and your blanket with you and get paid for the time that you stay in this place waiting they have improved a little bit but not good enough

Very fast and reliable services. Was in and out within an hour just to drop off a full load. Just take your paperwork to the export building, show up with your Paperwork, ID & safety reflective vest. They will let you know which dock to back into then you’ll proceed to go into warehouse where you have to get by security checkpoints and then go your dock ramp. Be polite and they’ll get you out in no time. Keep trucking guys🙏🏾

Checked in by appointment at 8pm and they called me at 2 am to go inside the warehouse in order to start loading. They waste too much time.
