GiLL’s grinders/subs are the best around! I enjoy how fresh all the ingredients are the texture of the bread & the seasoned oil.
Friendly environment!… don’t forget the shredded cabbage!

I have visited Gill's Delicatessen twice now and I have been a satisfied diner on both occasions. This unpretentious establishment does what it does well and has no need to pretend to be anything else. The dining space is comfortable, but in an expected style. The breads, Sandwich filling (meats or veggies), garnish options, side dishes, and desserts will satisfy your tastes. Let them know what you want and let them craft a sandwich, grinder, or special order for you. A good meal at a reasonable price.

Went to Gill's deli for lunch on the way to Killington mountain and was very happy with the grinder we had. I got the roast beef ham and turkey grinder in the giant size and split it with my brother. The staff was very friendly and portions were big. I would recommend stopping here if you are in the area or looking for food on the way to Killington.

I picked up a takeout order this evening I had called in on the way home from work. For some reason a cold grinder was wrapped in foil, not wax paper. There was mayo smeared all over the foil, the cabbage I had substituted for lettuce was wrapped into every fold of the foil and spilled everywhere, there are three slices of tomatoes, probably two pounds of lettuce and six pieces of bacon on my BLT. Most of the mayo was on the foil, no oil or salt and pepper like I asked for. This used to be the best deli around but the new owners are running this place into the ground. I'll choose Subway over Gills next time.

Not the Gills I grew up with and loved. I have even gone so far as to have Gills imported whenever family/friends come to visit us in FL, or we go home to visit for the last 30 years. Last nights dinner was imported to us...cabbage missing on 2, and the 2 that did have cabbage, the cabbage was limp and bland, not the usual sweet and crisp. The bread has changed for the worse. No more crusty bread? If there was sandwich oil, the amount was so minimal as to be undetectable. It's just a regular "get anywhere" sub now, not a bad sandwich, but not a "Gills GRINDER"

Dank spot for a fire grinder. Got the hot Italian which I ran through the garden, no big whoop. The bread is light and airy and the meat was piled high. Will come again. Appreciate you!

Hopping place even at 3pm. Flavorful sandwiches... get the oil and then get more oil after the cabbage goes on.

This is not the Gills I grew up with....Sad..... I understand there are new owners now? Won't be long if they keep serving these Jerseys Mikes reject grinders. Everything is off, cabbage is not sweet anymore, the mystery meat that was supposed to be turkey was piled high, which is great cuz my dogs were hungry. Cheese is not the same, bread looks the same, but don't be deceived, it taste bland and was somehow soggy even with the grinder being dry..... This is an impressive feat and I'm sure will be on an episode of how it's made in the near future. I use to be willing to go on 2 hour one way drives to grab one of these grinders, no more.
