Finally dined in to get the full experience of flingers. We order pizza quite often and have never had an issue, they are definitely our favorite non Detroit style pizza place.

The staff was attentive and friendly.

Dining in we ordered the Mac and cheese bites, they came out super hot and super delicious.

I ordered the garlic Parmesan wings, I wasn’t super impressed, but definitely worth trying. I found them a tad too tangy.

My husband ordered the august special Nashville hot cheesebomb - I’m not a big fan of spice but holy crap the flavors complimented each other so well.. and the dipping sauce was perfect to keep the heat at bay.

Great local pizza place with an extensive selection of craft beer from local breweries and other drinks. Be sure to try their monthly fling which is a few special menu items ranging from specialty pizzas to specialty drinks and appetizers that change every month. Their pizza and wings are amazing. This trip out to Flinger's I had this month's fling, The Pioneer, allbeit ordered without onions. It was very good.

I have never been treated so horribly at a restaurant. My below review was not only ignored but dealt with in other negative ways. I have gone here for YEARS with my husband and son and I doubt we stayed late one night.even brought entire extended family from out of town for a graduation celebration. Never again. The one time I go 5 minutes past closing the bartender was not only abrupt and rude but didn’t care that I was finishing my food, which I hurried through after it was made clear I was no longer welcome and was super uncomfortable. I was also not the only one remaining so several others next to me experienced the same. It should have been made clear during last call (in not a rude way) when I received my food that there was a hard deadline to finishing up. So weird and disappointing to be a familiar face and I guess all those years and times we visited before went unnoticed or unappreciated.

Have good memories of coming here but bartender made it clear five minutes after ten they were shutting down and made me feel super rushed. Left without finishing my beer and plowed thru rest of food. Yes i wouldnt want to keep someone long after closing but it was apparent i wasn’t welcome any longer. So i paid for a beer i didnt finish and left because i was uncomfortable… after a long week where i needed just a little downtime.

This is one of the best pizza places around. The building is great, service was great and the pizza is fantastic. Really good, original craft pizzas that are well thought out for flavor and texture combinations. And, on top of all the good Ive already described, the prices are very reasonable too! Some other pizza places in Bloomington Normal of comparable quality cost 50% more. Flingers is GREAT!

Flinger Rolls are fantastic on the first night, as well as the two times we reheat them since we always get enough to have leftovers! Soft dough, super cheesy... What else could you ask for.

Time for flinger rolls, round 2!

Is this a revisit or a new review? A bit of both since I’ve had Flingers many times but it was in an older building in another part of town. My dad and I talk fondly of Flingers and their famous flinger rolls so we decided to stop talking about it and drop in for a meal.

Upon entering, we waited in line until we told the people at the hostess counter that we would like to dine in. The hostess had a bit of a snobby attitude but we got seated quickly and had a friendly waitress come out and greet us. We got waters and looked over the menus despite knowing what we were already going to get.

My dad and I both got three flinger rolls with jalapeno, pepperoni, and sausage in it and got some bread sticks as an appetizer. Despite the crazy crowd coming in for the even more crazy lunch deals ($1.95/slice is insane, imo.) the bread sticks came out after about 5-7 minutes. We quickly dug in as we both didn’t eat breakfast and were starving. Shortly after that, the flinger rolls came out and looked delicious.

The bread sticks, while good, seemed a bit airy and not as filling as they initially looked. They came with marinara and cheese dipping sauce and were good either sauced up or not. The flinger rolls also had that airy vibe to them. I mentioned to my dad that after 3 bread sticks, I won’t be able to put down the rolls but as I started eating… there seemed to be plenty of room for everything. We requested marinara sauce and spicy ranch as our dipping sauces and boy, did they compliment the rolls really well.

As we finished, I mentioned to my dad that I was full but not really at the same time. I don’t think I could’ve ate much more but knew that within an hour or so, that fullness would be replaced with emptiness. It’s a shame that the rolls aren’t as filling as I remember because it did seem like they were light on the toppings and having to pay for the toppings per roll for each roll gets pricey quick. Our bill was around $46 for 6 rolls, a thing of bread sticks, two waters, and an unsweet tea.

I was super hyped to have a flinger roll again after so long but maybe the rose-tinted glasses were on today because while the food was super delicious and fresh, it felt like the toppings on the rolls have gotten skimpy and the rudeness of the hostess upon entering dropped it from a 5 to a 4. Still a really good place for pizza, beer, and various other menu items but it definitely lost some of that charm that the old place had.

New guy messed up my wing order then wanted me to pay 50% then make new wings for me to pay for at full price. Had to speak to the manager who also seemed to want to hold me accountable. They took it off of the bill bit never told me that would be the case. The cheese bread I believe they call Boom was not that great either. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice. My honest review. I wouldn't eat here again but try them out and see for yourself.

First time going to Flingers, first of all the staff was super friendly our server (sadly dont recall her name) was the nicest and took care of us very well. The food was next level, even though the presentation might be a bit intimidating for some, the Mega Mac is some of the best pizza I've tried. We also got the carnivore, and it was also delicious. Wide selection of beers on-tap. Will definitely come again!
