Read the reviews and stopped in. This place did not disappoint! The salsa exceeded my expectations. The chile rellenos was on point. My husband ranted about the barbacoa, it was authentic barbacoa, not the brisket most restaurants serve. The quesabirria wasn’t greasy and so good. I didn’t expect to find such good food in Vernal.

We read the other reviews before we went. Sure enough, the outside might make you drive by. But that is a mistake. It was some of the best salsa I have ever had and that was the beginning of the meal. The burritos, beans, rice, mini chimis, guacamole, were so good. I ate until I could eat no more. It was so good I would happily return.

I forgot to add the Horchata was delicious.

Very clean restaurant, the food is good but very mild. They have a good salsa bar so you can turn up the heat if you want too. Laura was very nice and got us everything we needed.

Love this little mexican spot! Went there for the first time today, ladies were so kind very attentive! Food was absolutely phenomenal, reasonably priced, great portions!! Everything I ate was so good and flavorful! Everything tasted fresh, toppings were good! I’ll definitely be going back again!

Absolutely terrible all around been in vernal for 6 weeks no one knows how to cook here . I paid 80$ for shitty food some of which was frozen an then cooked the waitress never seen me a day N my life an just assumed I knew I had to go get my own drinks an that there was a condiment bar. Do not waste your time or money here.

Food was good but if felt like it was altered to cater to gringo tastes a little.
I was thrilled to have quesabirria. It was very good, though $5/per and no sides made it a pricy since you need 2-3 plus a drink to make a meal.

The table salsa was bland and watery but they did have a salsa bar with some much better options.

The drink selection was very good due to them acting as a little market too. House Tamarindo was good but a little watered down as was the horchata.

Excellent Mexican fare in an old gas station, very inventive and authentic. Service was great and tasty food!
Plenty of parking, menu selection cooked fresh to order. Not 5 star due to lackluster locale and lack of ambience. BUT, the food is great!
