Stopped by The DA's Deli in Oak Forest on 167th. I pass it every day but never see any cars. I have also seen several social media videos so I decided to stop by. I ordered a1/2 lb Rueben. I truly enjoyed it. Choosing the 1/2lb allowed for the perfect ratio and balance of flavors. Every bite was the perfect bite. I even askee for extra thousand island; didn't even need it. Be back real soon!!!!

Had the pleasure of stumbling across this establishment earlier this week. The atmosphere was great as the staff was very friendly and informative. I had no clue I was talking to the owner at one point as he casually took orders and worked like any normal employee. I had the one pounder and it was great! Only problem was I probably should've ate only half in one sitting lol. Anyway, they offer samples of their sides as well. I tried the mac n cheese and it was delicious. May be a bit pricey for some but it was all worth it to me. Can't wait to go back.

On Sunday 3/30/25 after attending Church of the Good Shepherd in Joliet we decided to take that old fashioned Sunday drive out to Oak Forest to check out D.A.’s Corned Beef Stand. The food was nothing short of luscious. Everything is fresh. The whole place was clean and neat. The service went above and beyond my expectations. I was very pleased with the whole experience and I will be telling everyone I know and I will be back. My only wish is that y’all would open one closer to Joliet where we live.

Had no idea Dad's was in this location. Decided to stop, the inside was closed due to construction(think they opened recently and still building out, so drive thru only. I got the 1/2 lb corned beef sandwich on marble rye, pickle and chips no mustard. Came out to just under 12.00. the food was great as I expected having eaten at other Da's previously. Employee was awesome, very friendly. Food was made fast. Overall a 4.8/5.0. And honestly I'm only dropping them a .2 because I have a big truck and the drive thru is tiny. Highly recommend stopping and trying the best corned beef you'll find.

Seriously, the best meal we have had in a long time! My brother got the corned beef half pound and he raved about the tenderness and volume of meat, soft bread, just the right amount of mustard. Would have had a second one.
I chose the corned beef dinner and had enough for 2 meals. Hot, well seasoned, excellent balance of sweet and salty with the sweet potatoes. Outstanding!

If you don't order the extra lean corned beef at a 25% mark up, you'll get a significant amount of fatty slices in your sandwich. There was so much fat in my sandwich that it made it too gross to eat. Fairly disgusting. The Mac n cheese is too mushy and looks like plastic. Everything is served barely lukewarm, which makes food poisoning a big possibility. This place is drive-thru only, but I had an opportunity to peek inside during a pickup, and the cleanliness of this place is subpar. Eat here at your own risk.

The corned beef sandwich was amazing! My girl Jeniya was great! She knew I needed the German chocolate cake! I don’t get much corned beef in Nashville, and they all made it a great experience. Cabbage and red mashed potatoes were awesome. I will def try to make it back the next time I come up. Thank you

I used the drive through so I don't know about the atmosphere inside the establishment. The young man working the drive through was very pleasant. To pay $20 for a one pounder corned beef/pastrami mix only to have to regularly spit out fat while eating it made for an unpleasant experience and was a waste of money. I won't patronize this business again.
