I'm a past employee at Clintwood Lumber. It was a good place to work and a good place to shop, but my reason for posting a review is this: I've been noticing the review from "E Mullins" for some time and I can't stand it any longer. The reason he was told they don't have the "standard" 2 inch to 1-3/4 PVC fitting is because there's no such thing. It comes in 1-1/2" and 2" but there's no 1-3/4". Maybe "E Mullins" should have blamed their frustration on the fact that he or she doesn't appear to know what they're talking about instead of pretending it was the store's fault.

Usually I don't have any problems finding what I need. Staff is normally very helpful unless the one older lady is working. Very rude and flat out unhelpful. I'm not sure if she is still working but I know she was about a year ago, was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. We didn't shop there for awhile due to this woman's attitude. Last visit went well. Didn't see her

75% of the time they won’t have what you are needing. I have went in twice this week looking for varies plumbing fittings. - was simply told “ we don’t have anything like that “ ( it was a standard 2 in to 1 3/4 inch pvc fitting ) overall the middle age woman with glasses is rude and not helpful.

They are over priced and their card reader is an outdated piece of junk you think with their prices being higher than other stores they could afford at least one working card reader. If I could give less than 1 star I would

Spent 20 mins trying to use a card reader that must be from the 90s. Then found out the lady was trying to sell me 12' boards when I specifically asked for 8'. Worth the drive to Lowes to save 30 or 40%

The staff is friendly, good deals on their products, things are neat and orderly and it's always a pleasure doing business with them. I only gave 4 stars because there is a man who works there that seems to hate his job and when he has to wait on people he tends to get mad or lolligag.

Its a good place to go they have some cool stuff and everything you need! And it your helping the community by shopping in town! Don't go to Lowes they are just a big business that cares about nothing but money.

I love this place. I started shopping there when I quit Lowes. They have much better quality lumber at about the same prices. Much cheaper on some things. Great staff, and very knowledgable . Very warm, and friendly.
