We just had one of our automatic deliveries, which makes everything incredibly easy and we’re for very grateful they offer that. I saw on our camera that he put the bill on the door knob and then proceeded to double check the fuel caps and wipe off the area, what a great guy!

I love this place I have been going to their gas station for years if anything happens to this place it will be sad. It's like a part of history for St. Albans. I love the employees some have been there forever, and they get to know their customers names. Highly recommend.

Really disappointing customer service. Called as an established customer for a delivery as we had run out, to be told it would be an extra $150 during regular business hours because they just aren’t in the area that day or the next (I’ve had to pay for an after hours fee before, but during hours was a new practice to me). If I did not want to pay the extra $150, I would have to wait until six days from now when they were in the area again. Kim, the girl who answered the phone, had placed me on hold - during which time I was explaining to my coworker sitting next to me what was happening, and my coworker then told me to call somewhere else who would be more helpful. The call disconnected a moment later, and when I called back and told Kim I thought our call had dropped, she replied, “No I was there and could hear you the whole time, I hung up.” Oh. Okay.

Needless to say, I called somewhere else that was in fact willing to be more helpful.

We recently replaced our buried oil tank with a new indoor tank. I worked with John in dispatch to coordinate a pump out of existing tank and fill up of new tank. He was super organised and professional and completed the job without a hitch at the scheduled time. We highly recommend the Clarence Brown team for good old excellent customer service and support.

Emergency fuel oil delivery policy is unclear. A few months ago I was able to place an emergency fuel oil delivery and be billed afterwards as we were an existing customer. Today an emergency fuel oil delivery requires cash at delivery. Our account is in good standing so I'm not sure why the change.

Was told over the phone it would come to around $440 since my tank was about 1/4 full. Came to $515. That's $75 more than I was expecting to pay. To conclude, never leave a blank check for them.

Update: Ran out of oil and with only ONE driver they’re unsure of when they’ll be able to deliver to us. BUT if you pay an extra $100 it’s gauranteed they’ll deliver oil same day. Only if you have money can you live comfortably.
