I would give these people 0 stars if I could. I took my car in for a simple oil change and to take a look at the driver side visor that was no longer “tight” and kept falling down. Nothing else was wrong with it. When I received my car back the visor was completely torn off and put back on as if they didn’t break it. NO ONE informed me that they did that. When they pulled the visor off, it pulled on the wires that were attached and they were exposed. Due to that - it made it so my car no longer locked, my radio did not work and the over head lights do not turn on. I would also get a error light on my dash when turning my car on.
We called to inform them. Not only did they give us the run around, they did not offer to pay for the damages. We only received- at first a 70/30 pay out for the visor. We agreed to just get it fixed.

When getting my car back from the shop they ONLY put my visor back on. All the electrical still did not work. They stated they were not able to fix the issue at the shop. Which I can understand if they were limited. They did end up comping the whole visor replacement. (Which they should have done in the first place!) However, the manager did not offer to pay for the electrical problems DUE to their mishandling of my car and then having one of their shop guys try to cover it up. Now, the only way I can fix my car is to go to a dealership. I do not recommend trusting these people!

If I could give this location and its employees 0 stars I absolutely would. I am stunned at the treatment that I have received going to this location. I had problems with my car starting in September of 2024. Being tight on funds and having a Big O credit card this was my last option as my car was cutting out and losing power. When I went in I immediately was told by the women at the counter after she scoffed at me that with my car I would more than likely just need a new engine (mind you it’s only a 2015, that has been very well taken care of) but that they would look at it. They then told me that it needed a complete tune up, fluids flushed and new spark plugs as well as a new ignition coil pack. We went along with replacing that as well as the tune up. I left with my car and before I even made it home, the car started with the same exact problem. When I contacted them back to let them know about the problem being on going, I was told it must be a separate issue and that now it needed a new battery. Again, let them put the battery in. Imagine, after picking it up made it to the light in front of the building, the same issue. Then I was in contact with Brent the store manager. When I asked him to speak with the owner he begged for another chance, that he would personally fix it himself. Like an idiot, I gave them 1 last chance. When I was told by the manager that the problem was that it needed a new spark plug, and that they must have put in a faulty spark plug when they replaced them the first time. Then was told that it needed an oil change as well, weird because I was told that with the battery I was getting an oil change. Here we are December, the problem starts, yet again. I took it into a dealership and turns out, spark plugs were never changed, literally rusted out spark plugs and oh the ignition coil pack was not ever replaced either, and the oil was so dirty as well as a dirty air filter, so this wasn’t even done. I do have all the parts out of the car, but Brent continues to not provide owners information. So over $800 I’ve now had to pay to have this same problem fixed about 5 times over. DO NOT GO HERE. Extremely disappointed in the dishonest people that work here as if I was not paying them for work and it was going to come out of there own pocket. Finally contacted location in Craig Colorado and was promised the owner would reach out to me.

**UPDATE**
1 month later and I still have not been contacted by the owner, but was contacted from Cody at the location. All he has to say is "The car dealership must have give me old parts out of someone else's car because he PERSONALLY replaced these parts." As if the car dealership would have ANYTHING to gain by telling me this. When I told him it was really weird considering that the car runs flawlessly now, his response was "Well listen, it’s on a 2 month cycle. It was 2 months after the first time it was in that it started having problems." A 2 month cycle for an ignition coil pack and sparkplugs, an ignition coil pack should last for 120,000-150,000 miles, sparkplugs for the very cheapest ones should last 20,000 miles. My car is driven less than 10 miles a day. My car was into this Big O for the same problem 3 times between September to October so, explain to me the 2 month cycle. They will take absolutely no accountability for NOT replacing the parts that I have been charged for. Therefore I will be proceeding in small claims court against this Big O location. Be warned, they will charge you for work that they do not complete. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy, good luck if you choose to go here for anything other than tires.

Brent is absolutely amazing! He ensures that the customer service his employees provide is the best. This is more than just your run of the mill company. They give a personal touch to every trip into the shop. They offer great products at a price even this single mom can afford. Best tire shop in Vernal Utah I recommend them over the rest! Thanks Big O!

These guys kick ass! The two young men that worked on my tires this afternoon (@5:15 PM on 3-11-25) were LIGHTNING FAST and very polite, while the gentleman that was working the counter was also very polite and willing to go above and beyond.

All around an awesome place to do business with, and I wouldn't suggest going anywhere else!

ALL THESE MEN DESERVE A RAISE!

Took my car in for a tire rotation and alignment. They did fine on what I brought it for but my car has a quirk on how to shift into gear and instead of coming and getting me they took it upon them self to rip out my shifter and destroy the track that keeps dust out of the shifting area. I called back and they had me bring it back to fix it.

I don’t usually ever write reviews but after talking with some family members who are mechanics and how shocked they were about how we got ripped off I wanted to share our story. A few months ago my husband and I were driving into Vernal and our alternator went completely out and our car stopped. We were able to get it to Big O Tires and they said they would test our alternator to see if it was bad. Sure enough the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced. They said it would cost almost $830 to get it replaced! I asked why it was so expensive and the lady gave me a break down of the charges and said labor was $190, taxes were $75, and the alternator was $558!! I had looked up how much an alternator would cost for my car to just buy the part and I found the part cost around $100-$200 with $200 on the higher end. I totally understand needing to make money off parts and labor but charging me $558 for an alternator that maybe costs $200 is insane! My husband and I were stranded in vernal and had no other option but to have them replace the alternator. After talking with family members who were mechanics they were shocked to find that we were charged $830 for an alternator fix. I will never again go to a Big O because I cannot trust them. They will take advantage of you and your money and charge you way too much, especially if they know you have no other option just like my husband and I.

Not too long ago I took my truck to To Vernal Big O to get it looked at because I was hearing a grinding noise in the area where my transmission is connected, they called me and told me it’s my axle so I told them to replace it and the sound was still there. So I took it to Roosevelt Big O and they said it’s coming from my engine. Complaint is they lied and charged me 700$ for something I didn’t need.
Roosevelt Big O is better!
