No one answers the phone when you call. They will respond to emails, up to a point. We had a customer complain about our business. We wanted to respond, but BBB didn’t have the correct locations attached to my logins. I tried calling and always got a voicemail. I emailed and received new login information, but for locations that weren’t mine. After I requested to set up phone call to rectify, I have been ghosted. Of course, the BBB only gives you 4 days to respond to complaints. So, I assume the complaint will be on the page for our business. I attempted to report the BBB to the BBB, but you can’t. They aren’t accredited with their own organization.

I have owned my car (an Acura RSX-S) for over 22 years and it needed several different repairs, concentrating in the suspension. Tony allowed me to break up the job into 3 components so as to lesson the budget impact. The level of detail they provided me was outstanding. At my age I am no longer able to do this kind of work but I was able to follow it and I really appreciated their understanding and thoughtfulness.

BBB helped me reach a resolution with a business I had issues with over unfair charges. The BBB complaint was the only form of communication the business would take seriously and actually respond to.

I contacted the BBB about a business (windowz4less) that gave me defective windows and did a bait and switch on the glass package, stopped responding multiple times, then completely. Ms Tharp at the BBB told me I have to give WL4 a chance (after I already gave them many before) and go through all BBB procedures before the BBB may let try arbitration for a refund.

I did everything she/BBB required. After Windowz4Less finally gave me windows that were WORSE, I asked to go to arbitration for a refund. Ms Tharp replied that my case is closed because W4L gave me windows and I should go after the manufacturer ...no arbitration for me. I told her I paid Windowz4less (Mike Swearingen received my payment) NOT the manufacturer so maybe I should get a refund and Windowz4less should go after the manufacturer because it was ALL the panes in ALL the windows just like before. She insisted the case was resolved.

The BBB deleted my complaint and would not let me post a review of the business. [Including that I texted photos of holes and gaps in replacement windows to Mike S minutes after he left and he said 'its not freezing yet' then stopped responding. That my 92 yo disabled mom had to helped me lift the two 60 lb each 3x5 window panes (defective again) into openings because all contractors said windowz4less should fix it and that I messed up my arm trying to take more of the weight.

I lost almost $3k plus $25-30k (repl est), and my utilities usage doubled since windowz4less windows installed in 2019. Not to mention months of time wasted over the now almost 5 years trying to get them to fix it - only tape and plastic keep out the wind. On colder days with wind mom and I need to wear jackets in the house while we watch blinds sway because the drafts are so bad. ...

BUT the BBB deleted my original complaint, considers it 'resolved', and won't let a review be written... interesting.

I do have to admit that they the BBB was instrumental in getting a response from W4L after they stopped responding to me - so I am thankful to the BBB for that. The BBB also allowed multiples of other people to complain and posted those and graded windowz4less as an F - so that may help other people from losing money and time like I did. So again for that I am very thankful. Unfortunately, I don't consider my case resolved as long as I have wind blowing through my house and no refund. (I wrote and told the BBB it was not resolved). Despite seeing that though the BBB may help in some ways, it may still be necessary to contact the attorney general and FTC - maybe even reporters if possible - especially where thousands of dollars are lost.

Had 3 separate complaints. All involved refunds owed to me after my vehicle was totaled on an accident. All three promised $$ was coming but no results. One lie after another.... I filed 3 complaints, won them all IMMEDIATELY, received a total of $5000.00 in the mail from the defendants. BBB are Rockstars!! Thank you!! ☘️

The BBB is a paid review company. They are NOT a gov't organization (regardless of the "bureau" in their name). But they want you to think they actually vet companies will make a difference.
Get this: you can literally have nothing but complaints but as long as you respond to each and every one of them, your business will still retain an "A+" rating.
They try to sell you on "accreditation" like it actually means something.
It's a paid membership. And the way that they sell themselves is a scam. I tried them for a year before I realized what a scam that they are.
Furthermore, the Colby Weimer dude is a bit arrogant.. not very professional at all. I've spoken with him more than once..
If you are worried about reviews, stick to Google.. that's where people go anyways.
The BBB was obsolete by 1995..

I just have to strongly recommend Poignant Tree Service and Poignant Logging of Lacon Illinois!!!! These are family owned businesses and they take great pride in there work. I had Poignant Logging out at my son's suggestion to see if we had any trees of value on our property to help pay for trees needed taken down. They came out promptly to walk property and same day saw what I needed done. They gave me a price they would pay me for trees and what they would charge me and I still came out money ahead!! When they came to do tree cutting work they were on time, extremely fast for amount of work, worked through lunch and a rain storm! It was so amazing to see how hard and effectively they worked in this day and age. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Poignant Tree Service and Poignant Logging!!!!!

I would recommend Kitchen & Bath Specialties. Joe and his team did a great job. He remodeled both my bath and kitchen. The remodel was gutting and starting from scratch. If something wasn't quite right, he would make it right. The remodel was a challenge, since my house is an older home.
