My child was physically assaulted at school and ended up with a concussion. After my child called out to two adults to call attention to the the situation she defended herself. I picked my child up after getting a phone call almost an hour after the incident occurred and she was not in the care of the school nurse or even being observed by an adult, I was then told that they believed the kids were playing even though my child made it perfectly clear the other child was not playing when this incident occurred. I went to the Board of Education and have been told multiple times that I would hear back from them, and it has been weeks now. I guess it is time to go a little higher. So much for safe zones and no tolerance.
