My partner and I recently encountered the most unpleasant experience with a toll booth worker at this toll booth. We were driving on an unfamiliar road at night, and we didn’t realize it was a toll booth until we noticed other cars stopping. We immediately stopped and backed up to pay. Before we even rolled down the window, the worker began screaming at us and continued to yell throughout the entire interaction. Despite explaining that it was an honest mistake, she aggressively accused us of lying, saying, “YOU NEED TO PAY TWO DOLLARS ON THIS ROAD” and insisting, “THERE ARE LIGHTS AND SIGNS EVERYWHERE YOU DID SEE IT!” Her tone was condescending and hostile, completely uncalled for given the situation.

This type of behavior is unacceptable for someone in a public-facing role. As two hard working PhD students, we take responsibility for our mistakes and would never try to avoid paying, yet we were treated as if we had malicious intent. Her actions were unnecessarily aggressive, unprofessional, and frankly insulting.

This offense happened on 11/15/2024 by a lady, middle-aged, with blonde hair on the far right toll booth driving out of Ogden. This individual represents the city of Ogden and the company she works for very poorly and should be held accountable for how she handles herself on the job.

Google maps led me here. I didn’t know what it was, just thought it was a community or something. Was told I couldn’t turn around. I have lived in Utah all my life and have never known there was a toll road anywhere. I will avoid using this again and tell everyone I know about them trapping you into paying.

I've been taking this road for many years. The time it saves and the gas it saves on those days when traffic is bad everywhere else is worth the 2 dollars. And toThe people who stand there for hrs in the cold and heat and all night long thank you . I can't believe your complaining about 2$.

This is the dumbest road in the state of Utah!!! I discovered it in the worst possible way. I was in a rush to get home, and google routes me in such a way that I have to pass through it. I only saved 3 minutes by taking this route. I honestly thought toll roads weren't a thing in the state of Utah (other than national parks, national forests, or HOV lanes). So in a mad dash, I begrudgingly pay the man $2 to drive 1/2 a mile to I-84. It is beyond me why the state couldn't have built the road with, especially with our recent state tax surplus (or for that matter buy it from the private company that currently owns and operates it). The thing is an annoying albatross! I am going to avoid it like the plague from now on. Thankfully I rarely drive through Ogden anyway. Do you're self a favor and avoid it if you can. Zero out of five stars.

Understand that this is private property. Your taxes didn't build this and your government isnt charging you this toll. You can't be mad at someone who tried to get the state to do it before they built their own private road. Great little shot cut when you need to get from South Ogden to the Roy area faster or when 89 is backed up driving through south Weber to get to South Ogden is convenient and faster. Used to use it alot when it was just a buck but as the world has gotten more expensive I understand why it's $2 and it still doesn't change what I think of it, I just use it less often as before.

I like the parkway and have been using it regularly for over 20 years. It saves me a lot of time getting into South Ogden. The recent price increase was the first one since they built it and it cost them millions to build this thing. So all of you that are complaining perhaps you should go into business and build your own parkway. Then you can see how much it costs to operate and maintain one of these. Especially when you are building it over the top of a railroad right of way!

This is LITERALLY the only toll/toll road in the entire state of Utah. Pointless to remove, there because a landowner cut a shady deal with a politician. Remove it for the love of god. Or at least mark it.
