Vernal Brewing crafts first rate beer and excellent food. This combination is extremely rare in my years of searching for a great brewery and a great restaurant. The people of Vernal UT are very fortunate. My greatest disappointment is that I live in New England! The shrimp and grits with creole sauce had a great depth of flavor with
properly seared shrimp. I enjoyed the blood orange ale as well. A taste test of the smoked porter was excellent. I would recommend the porter though with the shrimp in grits, for when I come back.

I really wanted to like this place and I was optimistic because the building is nice, and newer, very trendy, and the things on the menu sounded great (even though the menus are just laminated sheets of paper and a little worn-looking to be honest). My kids’ chicken strips and regular fries were great, but then I got my meal and it was a complete mess. Sweet potato fries that were shriveled and practically burnt, and an “adult grilled cheese” that was like 80% sour cream (flavors were decent but the bread got soggy before I could finish it and it kept oozing out every time I tried to take a bite). My husband’s burger had dripping wet tomatoes and a bunch of bleu cheese concentrated at the middle while the patty hardly had any flavor. This place is a little pricey, too, so this was very disappointing. The staff were very kind and friendly though.

Just OK. Not sure I would return.

Positives: The beverages were good. Seemed to be very clean and newer inside.

Negatives: Service wasn't great. My waitress seemed to be more interested in working on something back in the kitchen. I felt like an afterthought. I also hate places that don't put out bottles of ketchup. You're a burger and fries type of place. Handing out little cups of ketchup is annoying. So of course I had to ask for more and it took forever to get it because of the lackluster service.

Very, very impressed with this establishment. Totally random find on Yelp while traveling thru the area. The service was excellent! The food to die for, the beer was above average. I had the chicken pot pie. It wasn’t in a crust though, it had a piece of puff pastry. It was excellent!!! The chunks of chicken were very tender and flavorful. The gravy was savory and delish. My wife had the tostado and she said she love it! The place looks brand new, we asked when it opened and the bartender said they have been open for ten years. The bathrooms were super clean. Just an overall great visit!

Prices a little high but the food portions make up for it. My daughter got the kids pizza and it would have been enough for an adult. Our glasses were never empty. The beer was delicious my fav was the rigamortus red. I would definitely go again.

Our experience at Vernal Brewing Company left much to be desired. Please see my other reviews and note that I strive to leave honest and professional feedback. Most of my reviews are positive.

We ordered steak nachos, we received zero steak. It took us bring this to their attention for them to rectify it, and instead of replacing the dish, they merely brought out a 1/2 cup of overdone chewy cut-up steak without asking us if we were okay with this solution. Mind you, our current nachos are sitting there and we are slowly nibbling them because we are starving. So by the time the steak was cooked and brought out we were 1/2 done with the nachos. The steak was a considerable up charge ($15) for what we received, it was overcooked and chewy.

Throughout the meal, our water was never refilled, and we noticed other guests had to get up and fetch their own water as well. Additionally, we were not provided with silverware, adding to the overall disorganization of the service.

Overall, our visit was disappointing. The lack of attention to detail in both the food and service left us feeling neglected and frustrated. It’s unfortunate that what could have been a pleasant dining experience was marred by these significant shortcomings.

Vernal Brewing Co offers a wide selection of craft brewed beers and ales. Smoke Ale, ambers, IPAs, Shandy's and a top shelf high ABV, "50 Caliber". They also have a well appointed bar with great liquors for high quality mixed drinks. A beautiful building and dining area, including a large open air dining patio that allows you to enjoy beautiful weather while eating. Well trained staff and servers provide you with an enjoyable experience and memorable meal.
The menu includes appetizers like a charcuterie board, chicken wings, mussels, soups, fried brussel sprouts and queso nachos. A wide selection of salads including Caprese, Citrus Salmon, Steak Salad, Caesar and a Beet Salad. Burgers, fries and hand stretched sandwiches are also offered. Fish & Chips, tacos, adult grilled cheese, club, chicken are all offered as hand helds. Some notable items are Shrimp & Grits, Chicken Piccata, Pork Chop and Carbonara.
Desserts include the House Float, Skillet Cookie and my recommendation, The .50 Caliber IPA Carrot Cake. You should visit here, if the opportunity presents itself as you will have a great experience. Well done to the servers, staff and the ownership of Vernal Brewing Co, as the pride in what you have here shines through. KUDOS!!!

By far, the best bacon I have ever had. Absolutely incredible, in all my years of eating I have never had bacon that sweet, perfectly well cooked, and savory.

The service is top notch, the pizza, Mac and cheese, fish and chips, and fish tacos are second to none.

If you've got money to spend, and a craving for the best food around. Absolutely go here. You will not be disappointed!
