Today was our first experience with Van Zandt Regional airport, they hosted the EEA Young Eagle Program. It was such an amazing ever for the kids & everyone there was so kind. Thank you!

I visited on a Friday. I would have assumed they were open, but no one showed up during the hour and a half I was there. You can go into the pilot side (North side) of terminal with a code for the door for entry. The pilot lounge area was nice with a bathroom and shower. There was a couch and chair..also with TV and free wifi.. There were drinks and sm snacks, crackers, and candy bars.. There appeared to be 2 courtesy vehicles. I did not use them, but there were two sets of keys, and there were two vehicles under a covered awning beside self-serve fuel island.. There was a flight instruction sign outside,but I did not speak to anyone while there. Overall it is a very nice new airport.

76F is the Van Zandt County airport.
Great new FBO, new ramp, 24 hour self service fuel, transient pilot lounge, couch , tv bathrooms and showers. Free transient tiedown, flight planning room, phone, weather radar and possibly a crew car if you ask during business hours.
