I have driven for several mega carriers along with elite medium carriers over the course of many years. Many have been reasonably good carriers, while others, not so much. This carrier, however, has impressed me the most. Undoubtedly, no trucking company is perfect and they all have their pitfalls.
As evidence of the quality of APL Cargo, I have been here far longer than any other carrier. Although many carriers claim to be a “driver’s company”, APL Cargo truly is.
This company sincerely strives to accommodate all of their drivers.
As a company owned and founded by former drivers, APL Cargo understands the unique challenges with pleasing every individual driver within their fleet.
APL Cargo is tailored to appeal to the “no nonsense” driver who values work ethic, driver etiquette, safety, customer service and a desire for excellence.
This company pays well, values the driver’s need for quality home time, and maintains their equipment as good or better than most.
The character of APL Cargo is most evident in the way they have weathered the storm of the currently volatile market and came out on top while many other smaller carriers folded.
In closing, APLCargo is a company for drivers looking for the kind of carrier they can call home. For me, I finally have found the company that I call home…

I started July of 2023 and I love it here my dispatcher vlad is a great guy I get my loads and I’m left alone to do my job no one calling me telling me how to drive or trying to hold my hand. In less than 5 months I’ve driven through all 48 states and I love it……UPDATE!!! I was here for about a year until things started to fall apart I had to raise hell to get paid and found out they were filing bankruptcy so I left all the textbook good reviews you read are fake and from the office staff and dispatchers not drivers

Hi my name is Rosalyn and I am a driver for APL CARGO INC. I have been driving for almost 17 years now and this is the best company that I have worked for. I enjoy being encouraged to do my best. I don't have any problems with my settlements. I drive between 2800 to 3000 miles per week and able to take home time when I request the time off. The owners of the company have an open door policy and make themselves available whenever needed. All you need to be successful at APL is a positive attitude and a willingness to put your best foot forward. I really feel that this will be the last company that I will drive for.
