I spent 30 days at Hogan and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The company’s billing and accounting practices are outdated, inefficient, and disorganized, creating constant workflow issues. Leadership is severely lacking, with little to no accountability or structure in place to drive improvements.

Additionally, the workplace culture is outdated and unbalanced, particularly in the corporate office, which operates under a patriarchal, “good old boys club” mentality. The lack of diversity and inclusivity is noticeable and concerning. This kind of environment stifles growth and innovation, making it difficult for new employees to feel valued or make meaningful contributions.

Ultimately, I chose to leave after a short time because I saw no real commitment to progress or change. If you value modern leadership, efficient processes, and a more inclusive work environment, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Recruiters tell you what you want to hear and do not answer their phones anymore after they reeled you in. Voicemail after voicemail, call after call, text after text.. NOTHING. They’ll give false numbers to driver managers that you ask to speak with. I had questions about major red flags in the handbook but after trying for OVER A WEEK to get ahold of the recruiters here in Texas I said F this company and they’ve lost the potential for a good driver. Start treating people like more than just a number and profit. It’s completely sad, but thank you for the learning opportunity of how shady trucking companies can be.

Keep in mind folks, recruiters love turn over rates, the more that people hire and turn around and quit, the more money a recruiter makes. Make sure you get written statements via email or texts so you can catch them in their lies with written proof. They will bullshit you all the way and my review is not changing until something is done. So, if you see this years later, the company is still the same.

I had the opportunity to work at the corporate location as an IT Support Technician. During my tenure, I was able to excel in my role, often resolving complex issues that even specialists in the field found challenging. Despite my contributions, I found the opportunities for career advancement to be limited. One of the concerns I had was the apparent favoritism within the management structure. It seemed that certain individuals were given preferential treatment, which created an imbalance in the workplace. I approached my manager several times seeking a role change to align better with my skills and aspirations, but unfortunately, these discussions did not lead to any substantial changes. I noticed that some of the cybersecurity experts lacked essential programming and security tool skills. This observation was surprising and somewhat concerning. In conclusion, while I appreciated the experience and the skills I gained during my time there, I believe the company could benefit from a more equitable management approach and a stronger emphasis on essential skills training.

I went into Hogan's Corporate office after going On-line and called for lease rental inquiry over 2 weeks ago and never received a response, which prompted my visit. I was instructed to go to Bridgeton location were I spoke with Branch Mgr. Clayton who instructed me to speak with Kristina acct Mgr. Last Friday 23rd. She emailed with questions regarding validity of my Business same day. We have been in Business over 10yrs successfully in Westport area and the other Business 3yrs along P&L statement for 2020 was returned to Kristina same day. I never heard back from Hogan's acct Mgr Kristina. I called Clayton following Monday morning he then responded that Kristina is responsible for setting up accounts. I never heard back from her. Great work Hogan...

Worst experience ever
I agreed on a rate with them and waited for the rate con from broker whose name is Nicholas Coser
I send him the insurance , we were good to go. I didn't get the rate con
After I called he responded
"The load is on hold for you."
after 10 min we call them to find out why we still don't have the RC and answer we got : "I'm sorry guys but i found carrier who can do it for lower rate" for real are you seriously guys ?
That's how you do a business ?
He goes 4 times down on the rate after he books the load and tries to sell for somebody else literally with me on the phone.

HOGAN IS FULL OF IT THE ALLOW THERE EMPLOYEES TO GET HARASSED AND THEY DONT DO ANYTHING THEY PLAY WITH EMPLOYEES PAY AND THEY DONT FULLY REPAIR THERE VEHICLES THERE ONLY CONCERN IS THAT U DELIVER LOADS NOT EMPLOYEE SAFETY
