This was my first stop on a Saturday lunch pizza slice tour of Waterbury. People very very nice but the place is a little dirty. I did notice they said they were now using King Arthur flour and was excited. However, I thought the pizza was tasteless - from the dough to the sauce and then the cheese. I don’t know what is missing but something is off in the dough.

Love the food. I forgot to take a picture before we ate it all up. They forgot our salad, which was supposed to come with the meal, but we didn’t remind them Local family, run pizza and Italian restaurant. Very low-key. Definitely going back. I wasn’t there for the atmosphere or service. It was a relaxing low-key place.

Food was below average. The chicken in the salad was very overcooked, to the point of being hard and dry. Not pleasant, but the salad itself was a good portion size! I was so excited to try the pesto pizza, but the pesto flavor was lacking and the pizza was greasy. It was pricey and too small even for a personal size. I do think there were better places in the area!

It's a small town restaurant serving up a few Italian-American favorites.

Service took much longer than a hungry family would like, but not an unreasonable amount of time. We visited when they were slammed with take-out AND dine-in orders.

Food was delicious, although there were a couple items we could not order due to them having run out of said items (chicken wings being the one I remember).

Friendly service.

I would definitely go back, but maybe not on a Saturday night when the family is ravenous (and impatient).

Ordered 1 large Pepperoniest, 1 large Super Special with extra cheese, banana peppers and tomato’s, 1 small Super Special Gluten Free Crust with extra cheese, banana peppers and tomato’s and 1 kids spaghetti with meatballs. Picked up the order 45 mins later and drove home only to find that they messed up every single item. We received the following……

1 large Pepperoni Pizza (not the pepperoniest as ordered), 1 large pizza with banana peppers and tomato (all the super special toppings and extra cheese were missing), 1 small gluten free pizza with banana peppers and tomato (all the the super special toppings and extra cheese were missing on this one as well). 1 senior spaghetti with meatballs (not the kids dinner as ordered)! I should have taken photos of all but my family was hungry and wanted to eat anyway! Attached photo is one of the pizza’s and the order ticket!! See what I mean? One bite and the rest was garbage! I’ve always had great pizza from here but this time was a disgrace to say the least! Sad day for Waterbury!

I received a reply - they were very apologetic. They offered the below......

"As a small token of our regret and to show how much we value your patronage, please accept this gift card".

Not to sound funny but what gift card? Unless I'm missing something here, I don't think I can receive a gift card via google reviews!!

Ive gone here my whole life, I am not quite sure what yall have done with your pizza dough, but it now tastes like every other frozen doughed pizza hut out there. Its gross compared to the delicacy we have been getting and loving for years. Please please please, from a very disappointed local, changed your damn dough back!!

3pm this afternoon, just two other tables with customers. Waited 10 minutes- no one came to wait on us. Too bad, eaten there before and never had a problem before.

Adding after owner responded- the sign walking in said to seat yourself, nothing anywhere about placing your own order. We would have gladly gone up if we had known. SHOULD have been advised

Classic house style pizza. Can never really go wrong with that. I decided to try out the wings and they had a nice taste to them. Lots of other food offered and everyone in the place seemed happy about what they had. The phone was ringing and people were in and out of the door.
