I was at Yoshi Sushi with my husband this past weekend for dinner. We were very pleased with the experience. So much so that we returned the next day! We can tell the food was prepared with attention, the super fresh and sweet sashimi is to die for, steam eggs was warm and soothing to taste just to mention a few. Highly recommend is the dream box, it was the biggest bang on our bucks. Overall the price is super fair. Service was very attentive and friendly, gives off a personable atmosphere. The environment is suitable for a wide range of situations. I can see myself returning with friends, families, or colleagues alike. The owner Jenny is the most hardworking and caring boss. She chatted with us, and we found out she enjoys taking care of all the roses outside the restaurant herself. She said the restaurant is her second home and many frequenters have become her homies too. Cheers!

@yoshisushi.sanjose use the freshest fish! 🐟
Quality you can taste and see, and they have the prettiest presentation. If you have a hard time deciding, they also have omakase and box sets! They have multiple locations in the Bay Area and the service and interior are so nice.

I absolutely love this sushi place! The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a great experience. They are always careful about my sesame allergy, so it is really important for me.
We usually go on Tuesdays, it is usually busy and long wait for the food, but still worth it. Also more affordable than any other Sushi place around here.
Highly recommend to all sushi lovers!

Order Omakase hoping to get the freshest fish. Instead I got food poisoning. Service was charming but destroying my gut is not cool. Within an hour I am on the toilet with diarrhoea.

This is one of the best sushi places in the area. They serve the highest quality of fish. The waitresses are always so kind. The owner is understanding and friendly. I feel so welcome every single time I come to Yoshi sushi. They treat both takeout and customers the same. This is a weekly spot for me. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant

EDIT: it breaks my heart to lower my rating but unfortunately yoshi sushi quality seems not what it used to be. The quality seems not as good, not as fresh and sadly more expensive. Several times me or my husband have gotten chicken katsu as well and the meat quality was bad and we felt ill. The portion is still good. We still enjoy the sushi, but it isn’t 5 stars anymore.

Super fresh fish and good prices. I wanted to try a new sushi place because the other options around weren’t doing it for me, and I was really impressed with this one. The crab is amazing! Included pics from my lunch: rainbow roll, angry dragon roll, and mango crunch roll.

This is my favorite Sushi spot in town! Jenny and her staff always being incredibly friendly and welcoming every time I go in there. Their fish is always fresh ordered almost daily and a keep a good variety which I love. The restaurant is more boutique and with a more intimate ambiance. Yoshi's is definitely a hidden gem in Los Altos and will definitely be coming back.
