We hired Arick Miller to make some ship lap out of some reclaimed old pine boards. Not only was he very late on his promised date of completion, the work he did was so far from professional it was almost comical. We had to completely remove what he did (loosing the width on the wide boards that we wanted) and start over. When asked for a refund he blocked me and was extremely unprofessional. Use extreme caution when hiring him for any job.

Unfortunately, I have to write a poor review due to my experience with Arick, owner of Vermont Custom Woodworking. While this review does not reflect his woodworking, it does reflect his actions as a businessman. I purchased a track saw and tracks from Arick on Facebook Marketplace for $350.00, including shipping. I ordered the goods on December 7th, 2020. They were supposedly insured and shipped using 3 Day Select. On December 31st the saw was finally delivered, but arrived without the tracks. I notified Arick regarding the partial shipment and was told to keep my eye out for the tracks. Over a period of two months, I continued to reach out regarding the missing tracks with no further responses from Arick. It is currently March and the tracks never came. I offered a compromise of a partial refund, but it appears he has chosen to simply not respond and keep my full payment. This is an example of charging for services or products not rendered, which is obviously poor business (and illegal). As stated, this review does not reflect the quality of his woodworking; however, it does reflect his character. Based on my transaction, I would not recommend Vermont Custom Woodworking to anyone.
