As a beggining intermodal driver I'd say it's not bad in terms of it's layout and pavement bit beware the outhouses they're toilet humor at it's worst. The one I used with just a little room in the toilet b4 it was overflowing had frzn #2 on the seat ! Bring lots of handsanitizer, like 20oz bottle not kidding

This is one of the worst railyards in Illinois. Unprofessional employees. Can't get any help with a problem. When you ask a question staff gets mad for no reason. Spotters need to be trained better. I have to get a flip done almost everyday. Probably because everyone is always in a rush. It says clearly on the ground drive 15mph. They do 40mph. OSHA needs to see how this place is operated.

Worst railyard with the laziest employees ever.

Literally everyone that works there is either lazy or doesn't do their job correctly. Including crane workers, spotters, and office workers.

You might get stuck at the in/outgate for an hr without anyone helping you. 50% of the time the container is not placed correctly, and you will have to get a lift off(lift crane wont be there). Oh and if your box is still by the tracks, good luck moving it or finding a spotter to move it for you because they will ignore you or tell you they can't.

Have been waiting for a flip for 1 hour now.. still no view of a guy coming to even start.. trucks in front and behind me.. usually quick in and out if no need for assistance.. but when you do... forget about having an easy day.

Never cared much for this rail yard. Ok if you have no maintenance issues or have to register.
