I checked prices from several companies and reached out to them for more information, University Movers was the only company that responded with a personal email. The other companies sent links, I hate links.
University has great prices and we're on time. Two guys moved my belongings out of one house to another house with no problems. The 2 guys were wonderful and respectful. The person in the office (I'm bad with names but I think her name is Vicky) was very helpful with my questions and respectful. This was my first time moving and hiring a company. I would recommend this company to anyone that's asked.

I recently utilized university movers for a local move (25-30 mile). They are a family owned business. Vicky was easy to communicate with. The day of the big move 1 of the movers called in sick causing our move to be delayed by 2 hours, however, thankfully they were able to find someone else to help instead. Tis the season for the flu so I completely understand.

Our move took about 4 hours total with 3 guys. I'm very surprised and extremely grateful that all of our items got to our new home in 1 piece! I anticipated some plates, glasses to be broken due to how I packed, lol, but noooope! All good and safely unpacked. They covered our mattress and my office desk to make sure nothing got damaged. We left our previous home without any damage to the walls and the same thing at our new home. They also place all items in the specified room which made it that much easier for my husband and I to unpack. They were very careful and did a great job! Pricing is fair and there was not an up charge for moving on a weekend.

Tip - pay with Zelle, Venmo or cash to avoid a CC fee. Also, be sure to tip your movers!! The tip is not included in their pricing so tip them directly with cash. This is a hard job and it is well deserved.

University Movers has become our go-to moving company. They are so careful with furniture, handling each item with precision and care while making sure walls are untouched. It's pretty amazing how they can literally get large pieces moved where you would not think it's possible! Moving can be so stressful but we have 100% faith they can get the job done flawlessly and without worry. Communication is top notch with the company. They respond so fast with quotes and treat clients like family. Anytime someone asks me if I have a good mover, I pass on their information. I have recommended them to our friends and family and will continue to use them for all future small and large moves. They are by far the best movers we've ever used!

I was extremely satisfied with the two men who arrived at my location promptly as scheduled. This was a short small move for you folks but my two couches were extremely heavy and your men were amazing and such good sports about the challenge of removing from a walkout basement through the yard and to their truck. They were champions!
Both men were very professional and quick to get the job done! I thank them for their time and energy!

We have hired University Movers twice. On the first occasion, we needed to move my mother’s furniture into our home. It was an urgent situation and I was so grateful that University Movers were able to help us so quickly. The movers handled all furniture with loving care. They were also extremely kind and polite — great people to have around.

We had such a good experience with University Movers the first time, we decided to hire them again to help us move 3 hours away to our retirement home. They were incredibly flexible with scheduling and were very clear in providing all details of the upcoming move. Everyone, from the owners of the company, to the movers, were so kind, courteous, and professional. All of our fragile belongings were expertly packed. Not one item was broken or damaged during our move.

Not only did the owner help me sell my items so I didn't have to move them, we hired them to pack us, move us, store what remained in their warehouse, and then move our second load several months later, once we were moved in.
