I could not have been happier with my interaction and service from UNITS, the entire process was excellent. Tom who arranged everything was great, he put my mind at ease and was correct when he said the unit could be placed on a dime. My relatively new driveway was unscathed during delivery (which is fascinating to watch) and the same with pickup. The person who delivered the unit was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The unit itself was clean both inside and out. Thanks so much UNITS team!

Dealing with Tom at UNITS was an absolute ray of sunshine in what was otherwise a very difficult move -- you don't want to hear about it, trust me. Tom answer the phone EVERY time I call. I haven't been put on hold once, he is incredibly organized and on top of things and I have rarely dealt with any company where things went as smoothly as they did. The UNIT was there right one time, BOTH days that I needed them (we had too much stuff and had to order a second UNIT which showed up within hours of requesting it. Both UNITS were spotlessly clean, extremely secure and looked brand new. The delivery was smoother than I would have thought possible, and they were even able to put it in the driveway next to where my sister had parked her car. And the prices for the UNIT, storage, delivery, etc were all extremely reasonable. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!!

I had a flawless experience with UNITS of Northwest Chicago! I needed to move out several rooms of furniture. Tom was super patient with my endless questions, and the unit was delivered and removed seamlessly. There was no water leakage despite many days of storms. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any storage needs!

I have used UNITS for over 5 years. Tom was the absolute BEST employee of any business I’ve ever dealt with. He was extremely friendly, accommodating, and kind hearted.

I recently tried to access my pod (havent been to it in years) and i was told Tom was no longer employed there. The corporate lady was extremely rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful. She would not accommodate me accessing the pod due to “only one employee for the entire facility, who is also the driver” and then hung up on me when i suggested they hire more people. I have no idea how im going to get to my unit since they “have no one available to retrieve the pod”. DO NOT STORE HERE! TOM IS NO LONGER THE OWNER/MANAGER.

We were having hardwood floors installed throughout our house and painting so had to move everything out. I contacted Tom at UNITS and everything went smooth as silk. I will absolutely use UNITS in future and recommend to friends and family. This is the way it is supposed to be, I am very satisfied!

STAY AWAY!!! Tom was ok to work with. However he left his UNITS franchise and they have been a nightmare to work with, since the accounts are now being handled by the corporate office. They have not picked up the storage unit from my property for a week despite many phone calls and promises it will be gone “tomorrow”.

This facility cancelled on us the day of our move in citing broken equipment that meant they couldn’t delivery our unit to us. No one seemed to be able to answer our questions at the corporate office and we had to call them back when they said they would call us with an update. This was a very disappointing and costly experience with this facility that left us out hundreds of dollars to make arrangements to go get the unit ourselves and pay for alternate transportation. The only reason it’s not a one star review is because of the young man at the facility who was extremely helpful and accommodating while we loaded up our truck.
