Worst delivery company I've worked with in over 35 yrs as an interior designer. Told them I sent a check for delivery fee which they cashed and then they charged my credit card as well but didn't tell me or refund immediately. It took months of my time and frustration dealing with this dishonest company. Both delivery men told me they were leaving the job due to dishonest practices.Beware

Delivery of our sofa was smooth, but billing was murky and not trustworthy. The company failed to provide an invoice for the delivery, and we were overcharged. I attempted to contact the company to clarify and resolve the issue, and they were unresponsive. Suggest looking elsewhere for your local delivery needs.

We used Unique Deliveries to facilitate moving and shifting our furniture as we were re-carpeting our home - I can say nothing other than that they were remarkable! So very attentive, so careful; caring for our furniture and new carpet as if it were their own. Jeremiah (owner) was so kind, so personable, so professional. They came several times and coordinated perfectly with our carpet installation team! I'd call them for any moving need; no matter how great or small!

These are not professional movers. They don't come with any tools of their own. The feet of my couch had to be removed to get the couch in to my condo. They came with no tools and were not going to remove the feet until I offered up my own screwdriver. Once they took off the feet they were barely able to get the couch in the door, at the same time taking out my light in my entry way, luckily they were able to save the glass cover for the light.
Afterward they only asked me to sign, they didn't say hey check for any damages before you sign to make sure nothing happened. After they left I checked everything and the couch has a rip in the fabric at the bottom. When I called today, I was told because I signed the documentation, I was told there was nothing that they could do to help with the rip in the fabric. I explained this information was not relayed to me when I signed, but that didn't matter. They will not do anything for the rip in the fabric in my brand new couch.

Absolutely not worth the $150 that was charged for delivery. The call it white glove delivery service, this is a lie.

We recently hired Unique Deliveries to pick up furniture items at three different locations in Los Angeles and transport them to two locations in Park City. The timing needed to be perfect. We worked closely with Jeremiah, the owner. He was honest, efficient, very helpful and on top of it. A man of his word. The two employees he sent to do the job were courteous, patient and extremely helpful and I have the highest praise for them and Unique. We would not hesitate to use their services again anytime.

Being in the design industry, I've had several designers in my network ask me about Unique Deliveries. I'll direct them to my review from here on out. I would never do business with Unique Deliveries for the following reasons:

- When you ask for a quote, you’ll be told, “We charge $90 from when we leave our warehouse in North Salt Lake until we return.” That’s not true. They’ll start charging you when they begin loading the truck. If you’re scheduled for a two man delivery but they have three men loading your truck, be prepared to pay $45 per guy, per hour. Then they have the audacity not to itemize the time spent loading the truck. They lump it in with delivery and installation time.
- They bill for more time than they actually work. For example, in their Service and Storage Agreement it states, “All hourly Rates are billed to the quarter of an hour.” Say they leave their warehouse at 12:13 p.m. and they return at 2:31 p.m. That means they were gone two hours and 18 minutes. However, billed to the quarter hour, it’d make sense to be billed 2.5 hours ($225). That’s not how they bill. No, they’ll say they left their warehouse at noon and returned at 2:45 p.m.. That means you’re being billed 2.75 hours ($247.50). I have yet to understand why they won’t bill you for the exact amount.
- I would never, ever entrust their services with antiques or one-of-a-kind pieces. They’re too much of a liability.
- They advertise their services as a white glove delivery, but they refuse to take their shoes off, wear booties (“insurance purposes”), or provide flooring protection! If you want to ensure your new carpet stays clean or you don't want to damage those hardwood floors, be prepared to purchase carpet film yourself.
- Their moving blankets are filthy. You would die if you saw them draped over your expensive cream suede sofa.
- They won’t commit to a delivery time. I understand with most services, you’ll be given a 2-4 hour window. However, if you say, “I want you at the model home at 11 AM,” chances are they’ll show up at 1 PM and say, “Well you’re window is between 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.!” They should have scheduled the window between 10 a.m. - 12 p.m..
- They can’t seem to keep employees. Jeremiah will commit to six guys for an all day install, but then only provide four. I’m not sure if it’s the nature of the job or having Jeremiah as an employer.
- Don’t even get me started on their warehouse. First off, it’s FILTHY and the guys who run it aren’t much cleaner. I can’t tell you how many pieces I’ve had delivered that have had nasty hand prints on my upholstery and now they won’t let you into the warehouse for “liability” reasons. It’s a total cop out. When I first considered using Unique Deliveries, I requested to see their warehouse and Jeremiah had no problem walking me through it. Now, you’re not allowed in the warehouse because it’s a disaster. Their aisles are nearly blocked off, some entirely inaccessible. They have pieces uncovered (and when they deliver it dirty they say, “what do you expect? It’s a warehouse”) collecting dust, dings, and scratches.
- You won’t have your own section in the warehouse--which I guess is fine, but then they struggle at locating your pieces come delivery time (and you better believe they’re charging you for that time spent trying to locate your pieces!).
- Do expect their website showing your online inventory to be 5-9 days behind, especially during their busy times.

Seriously, if you’re a designer (or homeowner looking to store your home for a remodel), and you have very particular clients and you order expensive, one-of-a-kind pieces, do not use Unique Deliveries. The only time I would EVER consider using Unique Deliveries now is to pick up an item from a showroom, gallery, and/or freight will-call and delivering to where I need it.

Unique deliveries LLC is a great service to use in Utah. Very professional, detail, skilled delivery staff. The Gentlemen I met that did a delivery to a clients house in Promontory Area of Park City Utah are enjoyable to have come into the house and deliver furniture. It’s nice to see two guys that enjoy working together day and day out.

I strongly recommend Unique Deliveries.

Make sure you understand UP FRONT what you are being charged for. They charge PER HOUR from their offices. We were never told until after the deliver where their offices were. We were given an approximate charge for the delivery of $80 from the retail store the product was purchased from. The actual bill ended up more than double this amount ($180). We were informed after the delivery of the per hour charge from the Delivery service address NOT the place of business it was purchased from. We were also told it took 1 hour and 45 minutes (per their "GPS" system) to drive from North Salt Lake to 3300 South and about 3000 East. If you live in Salt Lake you know that this is simply wrong. If the driver gets tied up in traffic, drives very slowly, moves very slowly or is delayed for any other reason your bill could end up being very high.
Bottom line, you will not know what the charge is until the delivery is completed. Make sure you know all of the facts before agreeing to their services.
