I moved this past weekend and Alexander was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I definitely recommend starting the process to rent a truck online to make the process quick and smooth once you go into the office to pick up the keys. No issues with my truck and reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend this location. Thanks again Alexander for making the process stress free!

so the reason why this is not five stars is because of two things the price and the customer service but before you freak out when I say the customer service that does not mean, I got bad customer service. It is just different

The people were very knowledgeable, very kind, but at the same time, they were clearly overworked and understaffed, and I don’t blame them as individuals for that. I blame the company the people who are working here clearly know what they’re doing and are kind and trying their best with what little they can. if price isn’t your biggest concern and you just want the job done go here because what I came here for was a hitch installment because my dealer would not install one personally because they didn’t have anything on brand. issue number two is that you do need to schedule ahead of time and clearly some locations have access to more boxes than others. This includes trailers and other things. One example is the location I went to does not have access to a 4 x 8 but that’s fine. I got the 5 x 8 another case showing that if the price is not the big deal then you’ll be fine. Just relax trust the process and go to taco rock next-door. If you need to kill some time I guess this isn’t a review for them, but they have some really nice Birria taco wrap. Don’t get me wrong there’s better but for in the middle of Falls Church hell yeah I’m gonna say one more thing and that is I met some incredibly nice homeless people some might think that’s a downside but the vibe they brought actually made the area feel welcoming. That’s not usually the case I don’t know why

Although this U-Haul location was severely understaffed. Brandon the general manager was a blessing in disguise. He was able to help multiple customers at an impressive pace with a positive attitude and process our pick up swiftly. He was very knowledgeable about their website/app which provided me with every option available. I would recommend renting from this location as he operates with integrity and his kindness was unmatched.

I got charged 114,40 USD plus an extra charge of 15,40 USD for a truck I drove 25 miles and only from 12:02 until 4:00pm.

When I talked to customer service they say I got the truck for a whole day (which I did not but my fault was not asking) and even I returned it a few hours later I was not getting anything back.

The location and the people at the location were fantastic. Clean, super helpful, etc...

The digital rental experience was abysmal and I will never recommend uhaul to anyone. It seemed clear that uhaul was attempting to trick or cheat me into paying more money that I should. The checkout experience had multiple hidden buttons to decline adds-on that were difficult to find. And then when I returned the car - the return system was trying to force me to pay $27 for gas when I had only traveled 34 miles. The uhaul system knows that I only travelled 34 miles so why are they charging me $27 for gas? And there was no way to adjust this - I had to get the people in the store to help. And finally when I got my receipt it clearly shows that I travelled 34 miles but then I was charged for 50 miles - why?

Combined - these feel like deliberate attempts to mislead and lie to consumers to consistently overcharge. I intend to submit a complaint to the relevant regulatory authorities.

The online reservation and pick up processes save a lot of time. The truck was in good shape, though only half full of gas. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a bit confusing as the truck we got originally was not in the front of the line, and had to be switched.

Branden is the reason for this 5 star review! He was kind, professional and maintained competent service despite serving 4 customers simultaneously. Uhaul should be very glad to have such a high caliber employee. He should get a raise and a 2 week paid vacation. He is that good. I moved and everything was fine. What more can one want. Thanks to Branden and his team.

When we first walked in, there were several disgruntled customers who were not happy with the “meaningful assurance” requirement that they had to give a phone number for someone else to vouch for them. Renters need to be prepared to have someone else on hand to be called while the reservation is being processed, and have the app installed on their phones. The staff in the office were very courteous and calm during this process, and the guys out back were wonderful with the return. The van we rented was practically new and very pleasant to drive. All in all a very pleasant rental experience!
