This manager, Heather Horton should be fired!! Many people would agree! Is it time for a peaceful protest?!?! 🤷🏻‍♂️ She’s been very rude to a lot of people besides me! I would say maybe extra training but now this is just a bad person who has the motivation and wrong place and it’s very obvious why!Maybe I can get some help understanding why I was charged so much here there’s extra money in the line items underneath the original dollar amount. Also, the service from the manager Heather! was horrible! The other employees were awesome. I just wanna say that.
The manager at this location told me she would refund the insurance. I did not want to pay for which I was charged for anyway at the kiosk and asked numerous times not to be charged for this. I was told that when I come back to return the truck, I would be refunded the insurance of course then she can say you shouldn’t have paid for it in the first place very rude and irresponsible!!! When I came back in to talk to her, she ignored me and walked walked away with other employees apologizing telling me she would refund my $40 later. Also here is the invoice which I do not understand the charges and I feel like I was way overcharged and the management at this location is extremely biased. I feel politically motivated and I can’t get an explanation of what I feel is overcharging. Can someone look at this and help me out Maybe thanks guys. This manager needs some customer service training and needs to be checked. I moved about two months ago and I haven’t had any time to deal with this till now. Taking advantage of people who are in a hurry and don’t have time Is how she deals with things so as not to face responsibility. These charges just don’t seem right. Maybe I’m wrong, but I was treated real bad at this location and I feel I was way overcharged and definitely wasn’t refunded what I was told I would be.

**Heartbreaking U-Haul Experience** 💔

I'm in a tough spot with U-Haul, and I'm hoping to get some help. Here's my story:

- **First Visit**: Told by staff to come back the next day.
- **Assistant Manager's Promise**: Wait 90 days (until Jan 9th) to retrieve my belongings at no charge.
- **Return Visit**: Shocked to hear I need to pay $275 to get my stuff back.
- **General Manager's Response**: Claimed the email promising no charge was just to lure customers.
- **Assistant Manager's Update**: GM changed the rules, and now my belongings are set for auction on Feb 1st.

I'm desperate to get my things back but need the opportunity to negotiate as promised. Heather Horton, the GM, has a history with us due to an earlier incident involving our dog. This led to restricted access to our unit, causing us to lose thousands of dollars in income as we couldn't access needed tools. This situation has left me struggling to catch up and has now compounded into this mess. The stress and heartache are overwhelming. I'm willing to pay what I owe; I just want a fair chance to retrieve my belongings.

I've reached out multiple times to Melissa Romero, the company president, with no response.

Please help me spread the word and hold U-Haul accountable.

Going online to make my reservation, and picking up my reserved vehicle. The agent at the uhaul center, was very professional. She, and her team, had my requested vehicle ready. She explained what I needed to do for returning the vehicle. When I returned it, I was informed that I was getting a credit. Because I returned the vehicle an hour early. The store in Clearfield UT was very clean. And stocked with moving essentials, if a person needs them.

Don’t get your hitch done here!! We came to get out hitch done. It was completed at 6:45 pm. Luckily I was driving behind my husband because I noticed the hitch power wire was dangling about a foot under that car. We drove back to the location (arrived at 7:15 pm) and the store manager refused to fix it because it was after hours. She said we’d have to wait until the morning to get it fixed even though it was a quick fix.

We drove home and that’s when the real issues emerged! Again, luckily I was following behind because I noticed that out left tail light started flapping all over the place. I told my husband to pull over, and we saw that the tail light wasn’t even put back into place and the snaps used to secure the lights were sitting in the trunk and broken!!

I was horrified at the terrible job and the lack of customer service offered after THEY did a bad job!! Avoid this location for hitch installs. This cost us over $500 and they did a terrible job. I mean the hitch itself looks okay, but it’s not worth the headache of all the additional issues. AVOID this location!

Seems that there are many people who have the same issues with the same people at this location. The reviews don’t lie people!! I rented a storage unit from this location. First month was free. During this time I only accessed the unit 1 time because I only needed it for less than that. I was moved out of the unit before the due date. I was going to call the location on thanksgiving to verify but didn’t know the number so I had to google it. Google said they were closed. They took their payment just after midnight on the due date even though the customer should be given until the close of business in the due date to make the payment. I called the location that morning to explain to them I was already out and the first girl was very rude and said that they don’t prorate the payments. I started to question this and she immediately passed the phone off to another girl who was also very rude. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to have pictures and all of that to be moved out and asked if I could come in that day. I went right down there and took the pictures and showed them proof I was already out. This is all on the day the payment was taken. Refund was refused, I was told I had all this time to come in there and properly move out, even though I work and could not make it there during their business hours, I told them about trying to call and she said they were there on the holiday. I told her google said you were closed and I was told I should have called or come in anyways. Yeah like people are going to come into somewhere that says is closed online for the holiday.all that and all the rudeness aside, I showed them proof I was out of there before my due date and refund was still refused. They got away with over $150 dollars in rent on a unit that I’m not even in. No refund, no pro rate, just horrible customer service. I disputed the transaction with my bank and if that won’t work I will take it above their heads because that’s the same as stealing!!

Rented a truck and hired a moving company in the app. Paid for 5 hrs got 3.5 and the reason being the company that loaded the truck did a terrible job stacking it and not everything fit and did not have time to go back and load the rest. I know I had room based on my previous move from Las Vegas and the company before did a great job of making everything fit
