Lack of professionalism. Endangering customers wellbeing.
I would like to file a complaint against your fairbanks branch. Especially the Terry Blair.
1. Court order was implemented that I was to have no contact, direct or indirect contact with the ex.
I contacted the fairbanks Pd to get a report, employee comes out tells me he contacted the ex.
2. Due to false allegations, I have a camera on me. Store employee asks police if I have to request. Police responded no, their is no law on such.
Came in and Terry Blair informs me he was informed already told his employee he shouldn't have done this. I informed him I did not appreciate this. Due to the no contact order, this could've gotten me arrested. He tells me he doesn't want to be recorded. I informed him, I had to Due to recent issues. Terry wants me trespassed.

Do not bring your vehicle in to get a hitch installed by them. Was told 2hrs and I was there for over 5. Brought in a brand new 2017 Explorer and they have caused so much damage and even hot wired the harness all the way up to my battery, leaving the wire just hanging. Messed up the sensor in the bumper because the hitch is pushing up into it. Broke the clips in the trim on both sides because he removed the trim, for no reason, attempting to run wiring that way. Then half way attempted to fix it in the parking lot before we even left. Broke a bolt off the mudflap on the one side under the trim and then attempted to screw it back on. Now I have to take the vehicle to Seekins for an estimate on repairs and damages and to have the hitch removed and properly installed by a real professional. Every time I've been in this store they have new employees. I've rented several trailers from them over the last year when hauling wood and every time there's new people working there. The staff couldn't even properly hook up the trailers to my vehicle. Only reason I went to them was because Seekins had to order the receiver and I needed a hitch by this weekend. Uhaul was originally supposed to do it Wednesday and they called me as I was on my way telling me that they now couldn't do it. Watched a guy come in 3hrs after I'd been there, upset because they told him his vehicle would be ready 2hrs ago and he was supposed to be after mine. They never even called him. Then as I was about to finally leave and had to come back in and complain about the damages a little old lady had driven back for her apt and they never called her to tell her they wouldn't be able to get hers in either. That was her 3rd trip in the last 2 days.

I called before coming here and was helped by Wilson. She was very knowledgeable about her information about what they offer. I came later today and was helped by Linnea, who gave a lot of effort in helping me with my problem moving. I was wondering why there were so many negative reviews about this place. I only have positive things to say about this place besides the negative customer that happened to be there while I was getting help. Shoutout to Shane! Thank yall for supporting our troops!

This is by far the worst uhaul ever in existence. I have nothing but issues trying to get a service done. About a month ago I made an appt to get a hitch install, I was told it would be about a week. Well the day came to have the service done and once I got there, I was informed that a part was still not there yet but I had to drive down there to get that information. Keep in mind they were quick to take my money tho, but not quick to keep me updated and waste my time. So they told me the part should be in, in about a week or two. So here we're are two weeks later and yet again I had to call to find out the part was still not here, again no courtesy phone call I had to take the initiative. Then this dude had the audacity to tell me if I can find the part I could bring it in. We'll what's taken these incompetent employees weeks to do, only took me 20 minutes. Complete bozos, I do not recommend at all, unless you want to spend money to not get a service, get lied to and have your time wasted.

This review is for the Customer Service aspect only. Having worked for corporations before I get that there are only so many miracles that can be performed when you have close to 0% support from the main office. I ordered a tow hitch, installation, and accessory online in late April with a May 1 installation date. I dropped my car off the night before only to be called the day the installation was to take place to be told that my part wasn't in. The person I spoke to passed the blame on to someone else and said they would call when it comes in. It's almost July. My part still isn't in. I went in to get my refund yesterday. Like I said local staff is super friendly, but they really should be a bit .more proactive when it comes to communication especially if they know the last shipment before your appointment still failed to produce the item to be installed.

Terrible experience. The guy was very unhelpful and had me drive back and forth 3 times. I would never recommend using this place to anyone. The storage units located off the highway, is terrible. I would never get a storage unit from them.
