5am appointment, checked in at 0455. Payed $27 to park (CC only.) No choice with that. Not too busy at that time. You fill out a sheet. Need to know customer name, booth #, Destination. They will need to have the customer paperwork in order (called the MHA) to tie to your pickup. I was told my load was ready, but there were people ahead of me that checked in the night before! Give them your phone #, and they will call you.
At 1300 I walked back to the check in building to see if they forgot about me. The check in line was out the door, I was able to bypass that line and go to the dispatch window (where you go after being called.) I asked what the issue was, and I was told they are waiting on a dock.
At 1700 I talked to a driver that got there after me (0700), and he was called with a door. So I went back to the dispatch window and was given the same "waiting on a dock" excuse. I explained that another driver got a dock that was there after me, and then another person standing in back said "I was just going to call you. "
So now you drive to the staging area, basically on the 2 sided of the street leading to the docks. I was able to ground load, so that made things go quicker for me. It looked like at least another 90 min wait in that line.
I got out of there at 1855 - 14 hrs all together. I heard that they close down at some point (10pm?) In that case you are bumped to the next day. That would explain the guys that had checked in the day before.
So ....horrible long wait. People were pretty nice though.

It’s nice parking place 24 hrs open. but you have to pay $27 for 16hrs and $40 for 24hrs. If you exit the yard you have to pay again. Certified scale in house. You must have empty and loaded certified ticket for check in. Check in start at 6:00 am. Always long lines for checkin. Appointment matters for them but unloading take for ever.

This place is worst place I have ever got load of, came here 10 am waiting in long trucks line after waiting an hour saw guy walking to his truck holding blue paper in his hand, I asked him he told me that it’s better to go to their office to check in I want their check it in got that paper then go inside the huge parking lot waiting 2 hours more for their call afterwards got the call from them telling me go out there parking lot to the left waiting in another long trucks line, if I know I will wait this long time I won’t come here it’s time wasting, not worth it

Just don’t. Cancel the load. Don’t come. 0 out of 9999 stars.

Got here early for my window 8am-noon. Sat in truck for 5 hours finally got a call. Staging another 1-2 hours.

Oh. You have to pay for parking. $25. The lot sucks no where to park. Super tight. Had to park in an isle.

Of course one star affinito comedia I'm never come here anymore back 🔙 goodbye Marshall unrespectful absolutely not respect you should came here with your money to check in you show to pay 27 bucks and then you show to go on scale and give him $12 after you done unloading it takes 9 hours process and usual to came here back and then again you going on scale and paid $12 and you going in office and they will sign for you and he says everything good you good to go

Guys this is a joke place for delivery and pick up McCormick Place if you want to reset your shift you can come here avoid this place and also also charging $27 for parking only for last 30 minutes no parking zone on the road and if you don’t have weight scale ticket, they charging $22 for scale.Avoid avoid this place if you can

Truck sat here for over 8 hours. We'd arrived at 7am for an 8am appointment.

You will pay to park here, you will pay to use their scale, they will require you weigh then re-weigh.

Let me tell you why this is straight up robbery, I didn't believe my driver because of how ridiculous this sounded. I had to go onto street view to see the sign that is on the guard shack for the lot to get an idea of what he meant:

I asked him why he had two parking tickets and get this, the scale is inside the parking lot. To enter the parking lot, you gotta pay $26. They will require you to weigh on arrival, so you gotta pay the $26 to pay the $11. Then guess what, you need an empty ticket too, go pay another $37 (parking and scale) to enter the lot again, because you left to get unloaded then re-weigh.

Unless you enjoy getting robbed, do not book the load. This facility is being placed on our do not deliver list, if the freight is going there we cancel before pick up. It is not worth the headache. They don't pay enough to lock up a truck for what amounts to 2 days because by the time you're done here there's no freight. If you had another thing you thought you could pick up after this: no you don't. If you're delivering here and expecting to get out in 2 hours, fat chance; cancel your next load.

They do not respect the appointments and therefore do not respect your time.
