It was my first time going to tropical shipping. It's convenient until you find out the price to ship. I was going to ship a small box, when I found out the price I didn't ship anymore. I drove to Brooklyn the next day to ship. If you're getting a good deal to ship at this location go for it. The woman that was helping me was nice as well. My rating is only based on the price for my box in Grenada.

I shipped a few items and my two pallet sizes were lower than 3.5 feet in measurement. Not happy that my costly shipping expense cost more than the price I paid for my new items. Not happy about that.

For over 10 years I used Scotty shipping in Brooklyn. But after they took over 3 months to send my barrel home last year, a friend suggested this place. And when I tell you the experience has been top notch! From the ladies in the office, to the fast efficient way they handle things & the great reasonable prices. They’re so reliable & my barrels always arrives in the Caribbean within two weeks. Been depending on them for a year now & have no complaints. Just wish they had a barrel pick up service in NJ!

Friendly staff, environment not well accommodating to patrons. As we the customer understands that it is a lengthy process sometimes, tropical should take into consideration to have a proper waiting room for there customers. The waiting area is the size of a match box and in tip of that there's no ac 🤔 was waiting there in 95 degree weather and it was horrible. Overall I will support this business cause of there amazing 👏 prices and friendly Staff. But accommodation to waiting customers needs some improvement maybe a little waiting room a chair or some sort with a little ac.

The ladies in the office there were fantastic. They were accommodating and quite friendly but make sure you have $ for the guys in the loading area, even if you need to borrow just a pen.
