WORST Apartment Management firm EVER.

1. They do not care for the building or grounds.

2. It is very difficult to submit maintenance requests, and the staff are terrible about responding to issues. Once, when we called to have someone come switch the breaker box (they locked us out of the breaker room so we cannot do this simple task for ourselves), they asked if it was "really urgent". It was a Friday evening and they wanted to send someone on MONDAY to turn our electricity back on.

3. It is impossible to talk to a person at the company. Have issues with administration or rent? Need to ask a question? Forget it. The number for my apartment management representative is a perpetual loop of transferring you between electronic operators that never gets connected with the actual line. The number for the main management group does not offer an option for speaking with an operator. Continual button pushing in the company directory only led to voicemail box after voicemail box. Does anyone even work here?

4. Email requests often need to be sent over and over again and do not receive follow up or action unless you HOUND them. This is true even when you are requesting a copy of a form that THEY have asked you to sign and submit.

Absolute garbage.

1. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. The application and lease signing process was annoying and round about. They sent us 4 different copies of the lease because things we had agreed on kept being I correct such as: rent, move in date, fees, etc. Different answers from different people constantly.

2. We had agreed on a date over email to come do a walkthrough and pick up our keys from the property manager, Kris, at a time and date that HE SUGGESTED, and I took off work to meet him. After waiting over an hour, calling multiple people with no answers, he finally emailed us and said “oh, did you want to meet? I can be there in 10.” 25 minutes after that, he showed up, told us he was doing us a favor by doing his job, and threw the keys at us, refusing to walk upstairs with us to properly do the walkthrough.

3. Apartment wasn’t ready when we moved in, after confirming it would be on 3 separate occasions. Appliances not hooked up, lights not working, no access to anything, very dirty.

4. Internet was supposed to be hooked up and ready when we came (included in the rent!). After several calls to everyone we have ever come in contact with at this company, we were told to figure it out on our own. After getting Comcast to help us (COMCAST WAS MORE HELPFUL) the apartment was still not hooked up because the management locked us out of the internet and cable room. After many roundabout calls trying to get anyone to help us, we ended up having to wait almost a week for internet access when we need it to work from home.

5. Several appliances/light fixtures were not working upon move in, so, naturally, we submitted requests to have maintenance come out in the online portal. They took over a week to even come and when they did... “oh, I can’t fix it because it is under warrantee so we have to get someone else to come out. At 6AM.” We suggested 8AM instead, but still had to wait a few days for anyone to come out.

6. They still haven’t come back to fix our dryer cause apparently the maintenance man is useless and they need someone else. It’s been over a week.

7. Two and a half weeks after we moved in they sold the property to someone else, and even though they are still the property managers for another week, they have said “no our problem” to anything else we call about, including safety and security concerns.

Long story short, worst group I have ever worked with. Rude, careless, impossible to get a hold of, and will cut corners to the point of ridiculousness.

If I could give zero stars I would.

These people are terrible. From the stooge "Engineer", to the "Manager", to the "President" Pioneer Acquisitions/Tricap Management is not worth your time. Take your business elsewhere. Our unit was not ready when we moved in. They did not acknowledge their errors & fought us about whether or not amenities were usable. Pioneer Acquisitions/Tricap Chicago were in material non-compliance of our lease for an additional 30 days, leaving water that had leaked into the walls and ceiling of our unit from above during July, the most humid month of the year in 2014. When they finally came to "fix" our moldy walls, the "contractors" rushed the job, left a mess, and denied the fact that mold had been on our walls and ceiling for 30 days...all the while using the mold-killing plaster & paint to complete the service call. Management does not take care of the property, trash & recycle are overflowing all the time, washers & dryers have sat out of order for weeks, the laundry room is never clean...and I could go on and on.

A bad company to deal with, worse property management I have ever seen or experienced, you sign the lease and you are on your own after that, they don't do anything at all, not even the basic cleaning or maintenance to common area.. and they tell you straight if you are not happy you can leave.. such a scam

No one should live here it’s absolute scam we signed a lease for 6 months with them and they sent as the offer to rent with 6 months and then change it on the lease to 15 month lease and now when we wanted to leave after our lease end they ask us to pay $3500 to leave we’ve been trying to talk to any one from the mangement for a week now and no one answer the calls or emails they are scamming people it’s the worst experience from all the places I stayed at in the us

This is the worst management firm ever. They did not even supply adequate heat during the cold winter. Very bad service. Never clean the public space. Slow response to the residents. Stay away from it!
