This restaurant is wonderful even though the indoor dinning is closed due to staffing. The food is wonderful and the staff is so kind and helpful. The donuts are probably some of the best in the state if not New England. Definitely go and try the cinnamon sugar donuts

Delicious! We stopped here for a late lunch and enjoyed a great meal. The menu was large and included a lot of specials. We ordered the eggs benedict & home fries and the corned beef hash & eggs - both were filling and super tasty. Great coffee as well. Lots of outdoor seating, which we enjoyed! The staff was very friendly and service was quick. Would definitely visit again!

Stopped at Diner after stop at Townshend rec area. Covid and summer 2023 flooding have left a mark (diner is and will remain take out only) and recovery is slowly underway. Still the spirit of Vermont was palpable and along with a hike amid vibrant colors the owner of the diner served the five of us outsde at the picnic tables on the last glorious day of fall 2023. The rain and cold arrived as we departwd but tge Vermont memory/spirit is ours forever. Thanks.

Brunched here on our way to Stowe.
Great food and great coffee! We had different types of omelette and a hot ham scramble and some chocolate chip pancakes as well. The French toast was okayish but everything else was really good!
Five stars for service, although it was self service whilst placing the order, the server brought us the food. They were extremely nice and friendly and very very prompt!
Point to note: they only have takeout and outdoor seating.

A bit of a different dining experience than expected, but still a great visit. You order from posted menus in a little doorway area, and they bring the food outside to you as there is no indoor dining. It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed the view and breeze while we ate.

Super friendly staff, eggs Benedict cooked perfectly. My kids loved their omelets and toast. Fresh maple syrup served with fluffy pancakes were delicious!

Just a note, no public restrooms. Port-a-potty is in the parking lots.
