My wife and I watched the two drivers unload at a local bank, truck unlocked, running with nobody inside the vehicle, and the door completely unlocked and open for anyone to do the taking! HAHA

Thillens Inc. really needs to get some new drivers. Follow the road signs and maybe put on a blinker, I’m not one for a bad review but when someone runs you off the road in there company truck it’ll make me think twice before getting service from them. I think there 1.7 star already says a lot, maybe fix a thing or two?

These guys don’t play around. If you ever need anyone to handle your cash, these are the guys you want to hire. They carry guns too. And most of them are swole!

A psychotic woman driving through Brookfield WI in this company's car should be fired immediately. She was running cars off the street and speeding like crazy. Do better!

The Thillens family is a bunch of petulant spoiled children. The facility is outdated and riddled with bullet holes from negligent discharges due to lack of firearms training. Their IT person is an ill trained guy that just happened to be the first guy on the job who owned a computer and was the de facto choice because of lack of options whose attitude is "it worked well in 1986, so I don't see any reason to upgrade!". Customers and potential employees alike should avoid this place at all costs. Stick with the better knows cash logistics places. They know what they are doing, and are more professional.

This company is HORRIBLE! They give you a $400 voucher for a firearm and leave you to pay the remaining $140 plus you pay for your own bullets, on top of that you pay $50 a week for the gun that you bought until you pay them back. During an interview they say you will receive a bullet proof vest and insurance from afleck but know that it takes 6-9 months for you to get a bullet proof vest and you never get any insurance and that doesn’t stop them from risking your life and still putting you on the truck. There are no set hours but just know a regular day will be anywhere from 12-16 hours, and that’s a good day, but they will still expect you to come back. Just know your checks will be $300-$400 a week. Thillens states they see you as family and they understand and will work with you they are just talking out their asses because if you don’t agree or do what they want you to do you’ll be fired because they really don’t care and a lot of them act like little girls. The only good thing about this company was leaving

I was a Thillens man for a couple years and I must say, it was the most insane job I ever had. We were an ambulatory currency exchange on an armored truck and I was a part time cashier and only worked on Friday, the big payday for most factories. We would meet at the garage and pick up our truck early in the morning and race down to the underground vault at First National Bank of Chicago downtown and pick up the money we would need to cash pay checks at factories all day. I'd walk out with about a half a million dollars in small bills, slung over my shoulder in a sack Santa Claus style. Then we would spend the day visiting factories and either cashing employee paychecks from the truck or inside the factory, however they wanted us to do it. I can't recall how many checks we would cash in a day but we'd dispense all that cash.

I'm not sure how many factories we visited but it was at least 30 or 40 and our schedules always real tight. Obviously we had to work fast and avoid mistakes and somehow we did. I was not the fastest cashier by any means but certainly was not the slowest either. I could cash about six checks a minute accurately and our route was usually never short more than a dollar or two. Mell expected us to cash about ten a minute but I doubt anyone could.

Mell Thillens, the owner was a was a very good boss who treated everyone fairly and I liked him very much.

I haven't personally used any of Thillens business services, but I talk to hundreds of people every day in my line of work and it is a true delight for somebody like Eric to pick up the phone and offer you his assistance. It brightens my day when people like him still care enough to make another person's life easier without wanting anything in return.
