I will be living with The Social for the second year in a row, and I cannot thank Brittney Johnson enough for how helpful she has been with finding me an apartment. I was emailing a lot with her back and forth, and she replies very quickly and really knows what she is doing.

I lived a full lease at the social Normal. I was in a 4bed/4bath unrenovated. Personally at the time rent of $419, which wasn't bad at all compared to some other places. The utilities were way too high in my opinion and I often was paying $100-150 in utilities. Management is decent. Maintenance was quick to resolve issues

Now to my real complaint: I originally had three roommate and the management placed us with a random person. We were all ok with the placement until we found that the fourth roommate had another person living with her. Let a alone a literal felon. I expressed to Brittany with pictures and text proof and all she said she could do is issue a warning. But to me at a college student if I'm already expressing my concerns to the roommate and she's not listening... why would a warning fix anything? All that does is cause more tension. They should've handled it by immediately removing him from the unit when asked. He was using our utilities without paying, inviting random people over, letting himself into the unit, etc. It was BEYOND frustrating because what happened to the safety and wellbeing of the PAYING tenets? Fast foward to when I was moving out I had to send photo proof of all the things damaged with proof she did it. I turned in my keys a month before her... she was the only one in the unit at the time and she left food in the fridge that we got charged for.... How do I get charged for something that I literally don't even have access to...

anyways, I would only stay here if you have set roommates. Take pictures of EVERYTHING even if you did damage it.

my best friend and i are both 19 and this was our first time leading an apartment. kylin was so incredibly kind and helped us with anything we needed!!! which included my 80 year old grandma. the environment was extremely welcoming. we are happy to have gone through the social :)))

This was my first time leasing an apartment (of course I had plenty of questions) and Tessa was so patient and answered every one of them! I had a wonderful experience overall! They would get back to me asap and were very kind during the whole process!

A hot water heater in the above apartment burst and leaked down in to the 2 apartments below. Damaging the ceilings and floors in the kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom, not to mention personal belongings. They have cut holes in the ceilings, shampooed the main walkways, didn’t move any objects “cleaned” around them, drilled holes above my daughters bed, left the mess, very little to no contact. I have called to get updates, whether or not to move her belongings so things can get repaired and apparently that is asking to much! They have graciously given her temporary access to a model apartment that is filthy dirty. That has been their answer. She has a place to stay. This whole situation has has been handled very poorly. It’s been a week and still no answers on completion or when they will even start the repairs! But she does have a “temporary”place to stay. 🙄
