The company focuses primarily on facilitating the movement of goods, offering services that encompass freight transportation, logistics management, and potentially, specialized shipping arrangements. While the specifics of their operational scope are not extensively detailed on their website, it’s clear that they prioritize connecting shippers with the necessary transportation networks.

Key Features and Services

Although a concise overview of their services isn’t readily available, the company’s core function remains firmly rooted in shipping. It’s reasonable to assume they handle various types of shipments, from small packages to larger freight loads. Further investigation would be needed to determine the exact modalities they support – whether this includes LTL (Less-Than-Truckload), FTL (Full Truckload), air freight, or specialized transport options. Their website could benefit from more detailed information regarding service offerings and pricing structures. It's also worth noting that the company provides wheelchair accessible parking lot, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for their clients and visitors.

Proximity to major highways and transportation routes would likely contribute to their operational efficiency, facilitating quicker and more reliable delivery times.

Customer Reviews and Feedback

Currently, The Shipping Pros has 10 reviews on Google My Business, offering a snapshot of customer experiences. However, the average opinion is a 1.6 out of 5 stars. This suggests that a considerable portion of customers have experienced dissatisfaction with the company's services. Analyzing the specific feedback reveals recurring themes, primarily concerning communication issues, delivery delays, and a perceived lack of responsiveness from the staff. It's crucial for the company to address these concerns proactively to improve customer satisfaction and bolster its reputation.

Recommendations and Considerations

For individuals or businesses seeking a shipping partner, The Shipping Pros warrants careful consideration. While the location and accessibility are commendable features, the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback necessitates a thorough assessment of the potential risks. Before engaging their services, prospective clients are strongly advised to contact the company directly to discuss their specific shipping requirements and to gain a clearer understanding of their operational capabilities. Due diligence is particularly important given the current negative sentiment expressed in online reviews. It would be beneficial to explore alternative shipping companies that offer a more positive customer experience, potentially balancing cost with reliability and service quality. A detailed comparison of service offerings, pricing, and customer feedback is highly recommended.

This place is a scam. I won some camera equipment on an online auction and unfortunately this is the place they work with for shipping. When I received the invoice for my shipping costs I was shocked at how expensive it was. When I looked at the invoice I noticed one of the charges was $40 for “recycled packaging supplies and materials”! I emailed the company several times to inquire about this charge and never received any reply so eventually I just called and got a hold of Dale who turned out to be extremely unhelpful and rather snobby and rude. He would give no reason why their packaging materials were so expensive and the only other option he gave was to remove all the packaging material and risk my expensive camera equipment getting damaged in shipping. He assured me that the guy who had packed my stuff was “one of his best packagers” and that my stuff was very carefully packaged to ensure nothing would get damaged during shipping. Eventually I reluctantly paid the $92(!) invoice. I just received my package today and was not at all surprised to see that, despite his claims, my camera bag of equipment was simply stuck in a box with nothing more than some brown packing paper. I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but this company really deserves a bad one. If I could give them zero stars on here I would. Steer clear.

Recently was forced to use these clowns as the auction company uses them. They wanted $19 to ship a 6 ounce item (actual shipping costs were only $4.38). $5.99 of that $19 was for "packaging" which consisted of a 4x7 brown sandwich bag rolled around my item, maybe 8" of saran wrap around that and two small pieces of brown paper wrap to take up space in the cardboard box. I questioned the high fees prior to shipping and received one short email reply regarding my questions.
Five additional attempts to clarify things over the next two weeks were ignored until I threatened to blast him with negative reviews; then suddenly I get a phone call from Dale within the hour. Long and short of it is, they vastly overcharge for their service, so don't use them unless you are absolutely forced to do so. One star is a very solid rating for their service.

The worst shipping company I've ever used they used a 14" box for a 5" item they didn't even use bubble wrap to wrap my item but they did fill that 14" box with packing peanuts. They are stupid high on there pricing as well. They charged me $42 for something that should have cost no more than $15-$20 at the most. I don't recommend at all

If I could give The Shipping Pros zero stars, I would do it. Not only did they ship my items so poorly that it damaged them, they charged me over double what the shipping cost would be. I was charged $14 for shipping supplies, but no bubble wrap was used and the items were simply smashed together in the box pictured. I find the name The Shipping Pros to be pretty ironic since there was nothing "Pro" about how they shipped my items or the lack of response that I've received from them. To actually charge people money for this kind of service lacks integrity and character. Horrible service and would never recommend.

Communication is non existent, they did not respond to any emails over a week and a half letting me know if they even had my stuff. I had to contact the auction i purchased from and they got in contact with the shipping service to ensure he picked my items up. Everything was packaged well though, prices were a tad high but for having them pick up from an auction and pack it, i can't complain. Overall can't really recommend.

Had to deal with these guys a couple times. Absurd prices, and in both cases they took two weeks to ship the items out. Make sure you contact the auction house if they're in Illinois and ask if they're using these guys. If they are, it isn't worth the hassle, don't bother.

Charged me $18+ for a 0.5 ounce box with a few Nintendo DS cartridges in it. As a business owner and daily shipper myself, this should've been less than $10, even with "recycled supplies" that they make sure to tell you they'll be using. Definitely not a company I'll be using for any wins, ever.
