I would like to express my gratitude for our moving coordinator's professional and very friendly direction as she provided updated information and requirements prior to the mover’s arrival. She answered all my questions and kept me informed on how to prepare for the team’s arrival. Further, she followed up a few days after our move to ensure that everything went well and that I was satisfied with the moving process.
Now, I would like to tell you how amazing the moving team was! They arrived on time, were friendly and so positive even though they had to move our belongings from the third floor during a very warm day.
When arriving at our new home, they carefully unloaded our belongings and even verified where in the house things should be left. During this entire process, they maintained such a friendly manner and genuinely cared that furniture was in the correct location and assembled according to our preferences.
It was also very surprising that I was asked to verify that all items were removed from the truck before they loaded their equipment and left for their next job.
Moving is so stressful, and this company and their team honestly helped reduce this stress by being both professional and kind and for that reason I cannot express how appreciative I am!

We used The Other Moving Company for a corporate move in Richmond and the communication was excellent and the move was smooth. The team stays in contact the entire time and questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. I noticed the dollies they used had something on the wheels to prevent scuffing. I was told this was another step to help protect our flooring. They are EXTRA careful with your home/office and your stuff! Great customer service and will show up when they say they will. They serve a wide area and do interstate moves as well. Give Brian and his team a call for your moving needs. You will be amazed!

My wife and I recently moved or home from Gloucester, Va to Yorktown, VA. Not a great distance but when you are in your late 70s, it is not easy. We decided to try to enlist the assistance of our children and grandchildren to help us move, but with the short time frame we had to vacate our old home, I talked my wife into using a professional mover for the furniture and anything else I could get them to sneak onto the truck without her seeing it. She didn't want to pay too much for the movers, but I didn't want to kill my back either. Anyway, we used "The Other Moving Company" for the first time, and I have nothing but praise for them from start to finish. Their estimate, office coordinator and the workers were exceptional. Friendly, professional and courteous in everything they did. I highly recommend this company for your future moves.

The BEST moving company!!!!!!! I was cared for from start to finish and I felt that I was a top priority. I had the best crew that took special care of my house, carefully wrapping and moving the furniture with no scratches, dents, or any breaks. HIGHLY recommend them and will be using them for all my future moves!

Great company to work with: Professional, knowledgeable, and committed to client satisfaction. All facets of our recent move could not have been handled better. Brian came out twice to be be precise in his estimate/bid. Final cost was slightly less than the estimate. Kristina handled the scheduling as good as it could be handled. Clarence and Antonio packed us with care and efficiency. Allan. Jason, Anthony and Darian moved our belongings with care and professionalism. Everyone I came in contact with added value to the service this company provided.
