Hot diggity dog!
I just had the best reindeer hot dog of my life! It's my only reindeer hot dog, but delicious nonetheless and with zero nitrates. I'm a bison hot dog kind of girl but I was pleased to learn caribou is higher in protein than my usual pick. Out of our group of 6, the majority enjoyed the beef hot dog most. With cheese sauce (you can get as creative as you want), however I chose the classic horseradish mustard, dill relish, and onions. That homemade bread though (patent pending), another first experience for me that did not disappoint. The owner is helpful and friendly, his enthusiasm made the experience top notch! Check out their shakes and malts while you're there. Great for the whole family. We sat outside at a picnic table in August but for less than perfect weather you can enjoy inside seating. I'd be happy to give 5 stars except access is a bit limited for wheelchairs or physically challenged patrons. However, don't let that stop you, if close quarters feels hindering, grab your order to-go, it's worth it! Homer has a lot of hot dog stands, but this is my favorite.

If you’re visiting Homer, scrolling through googling asking yourself “do I really wanna get a hotdog?” The answer is YES. As an avid hotdog lover, I always have high hopes and they were definitely exceeded. Owner is one of the nicest and most humble guys I’ve ever encountered and his dogs were amazing. He makes his own buns, which are delicious. Look no further, here’s your lunch/dinner stop. My only complaint is I was too full to try a milkshake. Can’t wait to come back!

This was right down the street from my hotel and I'm so glad I made the stop! The hot dog was amazing! The owner, even more so! He was the friendliest guy ever, genuinely getting to know each of the customers ordering. He makes his own hot dog buns that he designed to hold the hot dog perfectly. I tried a regular hot dog but will go again to try one of the funky speciality ones!

Very good experience and very good hotdogs. The people there were the best and the owner is so cool. We got to try new hotdogs before their release for free and give feedback. A must stop if ever in Homer!

The food was so good there that I’m still thinking about it weeks later. My girlfriend and I came in expecting nothing but hotdogs and we were greeted with so much more. Genuinely one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had (I’m from ct so that’s a big deal) and the owner was kind and generous. Anyone who rates this poorly clearly is wrong and for my sakes go to this amazing place.

Jim is such a nice guy with a huge heart! He cares about the people he makes food for, and he carefully works on his recipies in order to make the best possible meals!

And, if that's no enough, he makes his hot dogs with quality, healthy meat, his home-made buns, and his specialty sauces!

He opened 15mins early for me just to be kind! And he'll still serve you ice cream even if you show up well after closing and he's put everything else away!

Awesome hot dog shop! We loved his homemade hot dog buns! we ordered his special peanut butter and bacon hot dog! Delicious! Loved this shop so much! Will definitely come back when we visit next time.

My parents, girlfriend, and I came by for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The owner was incredibly friendly. The hotdogs and corn dogs were very customizable and delicious and you could tell how much care he's put into his shop. I recommend a stop by when you're in Homer
