So everyone who is thinking about applying to this company. I went the the filling application process. Spoke with the person in charge I guess JJ PRADO. After him telling me that he and the owner don't see eye to eye on some things and that the lady who takes care of the paperwork is a feisty individual and she was not to be messed with. Huh. That's a laugh
So let me take you on a step by step.
Monday I was there before anyone got to the office. The office opens at 10 am by the way. I spoke with JJ when he arrived. He stated that they were needing drivers and just let me know that they had an older driver who has been there for years and went down line fishing out the information until he got to the youngest driver who I believe was 22 years old. Which JJ stated that the kid was high on there Insurance. Now I ask what the pay was. He said what all the drivers got paid and that everyone who gets hired with the company starts out at . 38 cents a mile if it's OTR and if it's within 100 miles of delivery then a driver gets hourly Wich j believe was $13 and change. Now then after him giving all the information about everyone I. The office and stating that the only two that can afford the health insurance is the accounting lady (the feisty one) and the owner JJ stated that he and the owner didn't see eye to eye on things but that JJ always made the owner see his side of things. Now JJ did mention that the issues they didn't see eye to eye on were things like going into the oil field and picking loads that paid more and office decisions. But that JJ always got his way mostly.
So after filling the application out out and JJ telling me all about the office gossip, which was so not needed to know at all. JJ said that they were needing drivers immediately because the OTR stuff was coming up. When I would call to get an update. I would get another explanation of why things were taking so long. You like of well a trailer sunk in the asphalt and JJ had to deal with that. Also, JJ had to approve my application from the owner. Oh, and a second interview with the accounting lady. Also, I thought it was odd that the last person to even know of the hiring of a driver was the owner. Just felt like I was being pushed off. Then today on Tuesday a full week after filling out the application. I called and the accounting lady stated the owner wasn't notified and that ultimately it was JJ PRADO decision. As I thought this company is full of liars that don't and can't handle a company properly and they don't treat drivers at least prospective drivers with respect. They lie and the will do anything but tell you the truth about anything that is going on. They will waste hour time and energy. I recommend don't even apply unless you just want to sit around the office and be in the AC talking gossip. This company won't last to long and will disappoint they customers. Actually I should notify United/Market Street. I used to work for the corporate office and and I'm sure they would just love to know how SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT doesn't have the backbone to promise to deliver their loads. Of that wAs another thing that JJ, stated that SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT isn't in a position to have the custmers they have. I will be notififing the Texas Workforce Commission for wasting time and posting that SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT is URGENTLY HIRING DRIVERS.. What a waste of time. F
Drivers beware.
