Never did I think I would write a review for a funeral home but here I am. John and his colleagues were very supportive throughout this process and helped us very much. They are thoughtful, give you space and listen to your needs even after you have fully paid! Which means a lot. Their quote compared to other places was very reasonable. I trust them in this process. If I could change just one thing was the dismissal at the end of the services. I understand we pay for a time frame but turning on and off the lights to get everyone out seemed a little harsh. So I would speak about that to them beforehand.

John really helped me with laying my son to rest. Made everything stress free. I was happy with everything except my sons makeup he looked to dark but they did try to fix it but his service was starting soon. No if I can get help with my sons head stone it's been two years and no headstone which is my fault

Thankfully I didn't require their services; however, I do enjoy walking around cemeteries. Worked in the industry for over 15 years and cemeteries can be a peaceful walk. This is a nice cemetery and although I didn't go in the funeral home, the funeral home exterior looked nice and well kept.

The absolute best experience I could have ever imagined. The tremendous warmth And empath the staff there at sunwest funeral gave me and my family was a blessing! You guys exceeded my expectations and made one of the most difficult times in my life feel so effortless! Dealing with the loss of a loved one is already so hard and planning a funeral can be challenging but I am so thankful we worked with Scott. He was so understanding and always made us feel at ease. They were very helpful and professional making the whole process very easy. Nate and his team are very caring and understanding, and they went above and beyond. This is not your regular funeral home where they only stick to their agenda, they're very open to your personal needs, from been able to use our own church and keep my daughter Itzel Espinoza at the church over night and provide transportation, even to her last ride by her house to my mom's house.. He works around your needs. I'm so happy with their services that I'm planning on been a returning customer, hopefully not any time soon.

My father passed away in early October, and it was a rather traumatic experience for me because although I felt I was as prepared as I could be, I still wasn't quite ready. I had made just a basic inquiry with Sunwest Funeral Home only two days before dad's passing... but right away the staff acted quickly and things went smoothly from the very start. Elizabeth played a big role in settling my nerves, and was a tremendous source of comfort early on. John meanwhile, the funeral director, was very kind, compassionate, and patient with me. There was an unexpected issue with a surviving relative that arose, which resulted in a multiple day delay in getting my father cremated. John Immediately eased my mind and assured me it would all work out in the end. As I had requested, he kept things simple and basic, and he never tried to upsell me or push options and costly enhancements on me during a time in which I was heartbroken and vulnerable. He made the experience a non-pressure, and uncomplicated one, which I so, so appreciate. Everything I asked for was done, and with the utmost professionalism and care. I want to say another thank you to both Elizabeth and John... and to EVERYONE I came in contact with throughout this period. In fact, the following week, I was pleased and surprised to receive a lovely message from Elizabeth, just checking in to see how I was doing, or if I needed anything. I thought that was very special, and it certainly meant a lot to me. They are very good people over there for sure.
