Flexible, Responsive, and a Joy to Work With as an Individual End Customer! Smoothly delivered an extremely heavy (232-pound), huge (87.2 × 53.5 × 11.1 inch), and delicate electronic device into an high-rise apartment.

I am not an enterprise customer, a company, or school. It was my second time ordering this large product to be delivered to my own home, an apartment, in Chicago from Southern California. The first time the product’s company used another freight service that just left my huge and delicate electronic device outside my apartment doorstep, in the snow!!!! I had to scramble to find people to help me bring it in.

This time I moved into a high rise apartment and needed to book the freight elevator its 2-hour delivery window. Eugene from Stevens Global called me before the delivery to ask when they should deliver, and I told them can they store it somewhere in Chicago and then do the final delivery after I book the elevator. He said yes and we had a few more conversations to confirm it.

Amazingly, their local delivery contractors, Kemco Trucking, also help me carry it up to my unit in the building for free! At first Eugene said he has to check how to pay the carrying-up fee, then he told me it would be complementary. I tipped the delivery people for very safely and efficiently moving it into my unit.

One last thing, Stevens Global is super responsive on the phone. About one hour into my delivery window I didn’t hear from the local contractors, so I called Eugene, but another Stevens Global staff picked up the phone and helped check on the delivery truck and within 3-5 minutes told me the delivery people are coming within 15 minutes!! That was amazing better customer service!!

I use Stevens Global for most of my freight needs in the tradeshow industry. What's fantastic about them over other companies I've used is that they feel like an extension of my team. In particular, Ron and Scott are often faster and much more responsive than other companies. With tradeshows, there are so many moving parts that a lot could go wrong. But the guys at Stevens Global call me if there is any sign of trouble and work with me to get where they need to go and back again.
