Was going good until they decided to tack on an extra "insurance" I didn't ask for, adding to my monthly payment without discussing anything with me first. Without signing an agreement for it. Then when I call about it I'm hung up on. And cannot get anyone to answer when calling back... Easy enough to say I will start my moving out phase this month.

Great place for anyone looking to use a facility for storage or workshops. These units are budget friendly and good for first time worshop renters as well. The staff is always on call for me when I need them and help with problems promptly. The staff is personable so if you work with them, they'll work with you. They also have maintained the same staff members for as long as I've been there so they are dedicated, Lucas, Alex and the owner. As far as I'm concerned they are accomidating to customers, so I've been renting here for about 6 years happily for a reason and have no plans of leaving any time soon.

I have been renting from State Storage Workshops for a couple years now and from the sign up process to pick my unit to downsizing to a smaller unit was fast and easy and the customer service we received was outstanding. I have not had any issues with the safety of my items or problems with other tenants. I have actually gained some friendships to help with other projects I have been working on. I definitely plan on renting for a long time to come.

EDITED Absolutely amazing place to rent a workshop from with an excellent staff willing to help you however they can! Lucas and Alex are super friendly and very accommodating and helpful when it comes to any issues or questions regarding the units of facility.would 100% recommend renting here EDIT: I was here for 2 years almost and THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! Stay far away from it, the only reason I gave this place a good review in the first place is to get money off my rent and probably the same with all the other reviews, place is super dirty trash everywhere, people living in units, random homeless people coming up and harassing you etc. when i first reserved my unit I saw it in person and liked that unit! I went home and got on the website and followed all there instructions to rent out THAT SPECIFIC unit and they took my money and i signed my lease just to come in the next day and that same unit be locked and rented out to someone else! They then gave me the run around and said we have another unit, keep in mind a worse unit that only had 2 outlets and no light bulbs, I was told they would add a outlet for me due to the inconvenience but yet never did, after a hardship and falling behind on my rent they cut my locks off which i understand but the jack wagons cut the door latch it’s self making the lock absolutely pointless so after I was able to catch up and put my lock back on you could just use a screw driver to pry it open and get the lock off. I mentioned this to Alex and Lucas about 6 or 7 times being told “that’s not right we’ll get that fixed right away” but still again no action taken ! Don’t even get me started on the gate that doesn’t even work half the time you literally just have to call them to get access to your stuff and man you better pray they answer because I’ve had 15/20 min holds before anyone decided to pick up and then all you hear is them in the middle of like partying while you can’t even get access to your belongings! Oh and if you wanna try and speed things up and open the gate yourself you’ll get charged 500$ for their laziness lmao! Glad I remembered to come back and change this review I hope this helps anyone looking to rent here. This place is a joke with rent that’s way overpriced for what it is 🙂

The only reason that I kept this more than a month was because of the location ..it's close to my house. It's way overpriced, the bathroom is disgustung, nobody takes care of it and the "Security" gates are constantly broken. I moved.
I would not recommend this to anyone.
