I greatly appreciate being told to submit paperwork and then submitting that paperwork then having that paperwork lost so once I realize that things aren't happening in the timeline that they said it would be happening in I show up. I wasn't notified because I never apparently handed in the paperwork that I handed in now I have to hand in more paperwork that I already handed in. It's not very reassuring when the woman at the counter says she will complete the simple task of uploading your document and then that document disappears and is nowhere to be found and there is nothing in the notes to indicate any of the phone calls I've made trying to resolve this issue. The staff are nice but there's at least 2 hours of waiting on the phone if you actually don't want to go to their physical office and I highly suggest coming back the next day anytime you submitted paperwork to make sure the paperwork isn't lost and Oblivion and actually submitted in the very simple process of uploading a document.

Closed Monday July 10/23 for no apparent reason? Post office is open but the entire Asa Bloomer building is closed with no signage to indicate why. Tax dollars at work, I mean hardly working. Now I'll wait on hold for 2.5 hours (avg wait time) to be told no one showed up for work, the Apple Commodores they're using are broken, or someone was cooking meth in the bathroom. What a joke, zero accountability.

Some of the staff upstairs on the 3rd floor are not honest with anyone. So the first lie was they could help house us throughout the winter as long as the hotel they put us in didn't think we were causing a problem which we never did. We kept our room spotless and the staff loved us. About a month into our stay we had to do our review for the month and pay 100 to the hotel. When we got in contact a wih a different person she told us that we didnt qualify bec my other half had SSDI/SSI. Which is funny bec the lady who gave us this voucher said that having SSDI got us in in the first place. Another lady at the desk a couple days later said because we didnt have a child. I cant physically have children due to my PMDD. I dont have a choice or say in that matter. The last time they lied to us about Vermont not having assistance for travelers aid. There is 2 towns I can name off the top of my head that will help you no questions asked. Burlington and Montpelier. If your really stuck here in Vermont and you hate it as much as I do go to either of these town and I promise one will help you. The director in Montpelier is a great guy, very kind and will do anything to help you. Don't let thes ladies on the third floor lie to you and tell you there is no assistance. We got assistance to get out of Rutland Vermont when they said there is none in town. Im leaving on a bus to NY at 7am today. So my question to this program is (one more time) Vermont doesnt help with travellers aid? Are you sure it dont? Being a good person can get you far in this world and liars I cant stand.
