They were very helpful in finding our unit and there is great communication and customer service. The unit met our needs and is easy to drive up to and we also stored our car. After 9 months, no spider webs or any other pest damage.

This place is horrid. My elderly disabled mother is paying these people $189/mo for this gross unit. We came to move stuff out and the mattress, box spring, and love seat had all gotten damaged by water running in under the door and mice and rats peeing and pooping on everything. There are small leaks in the ceiling.
I had decided since the floor isn't safe, to put only plastic tubs on the floor and stack our boxes of valuable stuff on top to avoid them soaking in rat and mouse pee/water, but then lo and behold the roof leaked into one of these boxes, damaging more stuff.
My storage unit at winters is 100/month, and it's also "self-storage". There is no leaking or rodent infestation and it is semi climate controlled where as star city has nothing. There is wiring in the unit for a light but they ripped out the socket!

Now they threatened to charge my 71 year old mother with a fine because we need to get the moldy/rodent pee drenched furniture out, in order to keep the mold from spreading. But we can't haul this stuff, we don't have the vehicle for it, and after all this has cost us, we don't have the money. This mildew is so bad that I ended up with a respiratory infection and had to visit the ER for my breathing difficulty. I was sick and on antibiotics for 2 weeks.

I unloaded our now ruined belongings into a pile, out of the way in a grassy field that is filled with broken-down cars, and they want to try and charge us for illegal dumping.

They know my mom is an elderly, disabled, widow on a fixed income and still refuse to accept responsibility for their leaky, infested, slum.

Go to any other facility and get better service for less money. I'm so upset for my mom. She doesn't have a lot of money and insurance is slow to pay, if they decide they should pay

If they resolve this reasonably I'd be willing to change my review but as it stands we're expected to pay full price for a leaky unit where our stuff isn't safe.

Fair priced and clean units. I've always gotten prompt customer service, and getting the unit online was easy. I'm happy with Star City.

This is by far the best storage ive had yet. The other renters are very nice as well as the owner of the property who stopped in to check and make sure things were okay one night when I was there late. It made me feel like I was in a very safe spot. I love that there is a keypad to get in and that there is 24-hour access because after hours is usually when I need to be there. It's also very clean. I will continue to be a customer of theirs for this duration and if I ever need a storage in the future. Highly recommended.

Star City helped me when I was in a tight spot. My previous facility that I tried to use had set my reservations up for the State of Fla. and it was a mess. Luckily Star City has there 24/7 customer service bc it truly came in at the perfect time, after all other company’s were closed, they were able to still get me a unit and was able to check into it right then and my new lock was waiting in the unit for me. I was very pleased with their services and facilities.

This facility gets 5 stars because of the owner and his staff’s superb customer service, the price per unit compared to other facilities and the fact that this is one of the few facilities that still offer 24 hour access. Thank you.
