The City of South Weber is inundated with dirt from the gravel pits. Staker Parsons doesn’t seem to care or take any actions to stop this from happening. It is affecting the health and well-being of our Citizens and destroying property within the City. Stalker Parsons is aware of this problem and yet does nothing.

I go here quite a bit. Just need sand for some corrals. Usually not too bad. Drive in. Get sand. Pay and drive out. Learned today that there must be a cutoff for loading or something. No signs or anything saying anything about it, so I don’t really know what time that might be. But today I was running a bit later than I wanted to be and arrived around a quarter to 5. They close at 5. Probably a pain for them to load someone at the end of the day. I get it. Anyway, I figured if it was too late they would tell me and I’d have to come back. If you’ve been there you know you have to call the little office when you’re on the scale. So I called. No answer. Didn’t want to bother folks, but I didn’t want to just sit around taking up space either, so I called again. Office accidentally picked up the phone and all I could hear was someone trying to catch their breath from laughter. Must have been a good time in the little trailer/office. Then disconnected. I guess that meant they were closed. I’ll try again another day, maybe. Would have been nice if they would have just said we are done for the day or something. Maybe a sign with loading hours?

Best place for a good price on some arena sand

The amount of sand these pits kick into the air is mind-boggling. The fact that it's at the mouth of a canyon is even more so. There is sand in places I never knew existed. This location is by far not a boon to the local community. Places such as this should not exist near residential communities.
